This exciting ownership positions us for continued impacts and growth in the future.</p>\n<h2>Essential Functions & Responsibilities </h2>\n<p><strong>Service Technician I</strong><strong></strong>As a Service Technician I you will be responsible for loading and/or unloading drums and containers from trucks and processing and/or storing hazardous waste materials. </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Prioritizes health and safety by adhering to policies, processes, and maintaining safe practices at all times</li>\n <li>Loads and/or unloads drums and containers from trucks; processes and/or stores hazardous waste materials</li>\n <li>Weighs and breaks down large containers into smaller containers for processing </li>\n <li>Completes inspections and mechanical placement of drums on conveyor and completes the manual placement of buckets from pallet to carriage </li>\n <li>Drives forklift to retrieve drums and containers from storage and operates computer and conveyor </li>\n <li>Transports and positions trailers and tankers for collection of slag and ash</li>\n <li>Pumps liquid out of containers and transfers material from tank using a centrifugal pump</li>\n <li>Maintains a clean work area and completes basic housekeeping tasks </li>\n <li>Takes on additional duties as assigned to support the team and organization</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Education </h2>- High-school diploma or equivalent (required) \n<h2>Experience</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Previous experience operating a fork truck (preferred) </li>\n <li>HAZWOPER certificate or previous fire-fighting experinece (preferred) </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Benefits, Compensation & Workforce Diversity</h2>Arcwood offers competitive pay and bonus incentives.
