You matter, and so does the impact you can make with us.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The American Heart Association has an excellent opportunity for a <strong>Sr.</strong> <strong>Systems Engineer</strong> at our office located in <strong>Dallas, TX.</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The <strong>Sr.</strong> <strong>Systems Engineer </strong>is a senior professional responsible for optimizing the IT infrastructure, including servers, storage systems, cloud operations, and identity management. Responsible for designing and implementing advanced server environments, enhancing storage solutions, and ensuring the highest levels of security and efficiency in the cloud operations. Be Valued at the American Heart Association by following us on LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X, and at heart.jobs.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Leads the design, planning, implementation, enhancement, and testing of both on-premise distributed systems and cloud resources (including Azure, AWS, GCP, Oracle, etc.), ensuring robust and scalable solutions.</li>\n <li>Conducts in-depth technical assessments, research, and testing of emerging technologies to support strategic initiatives and innovation.</li>\n <li>Develops and enforces advanced security measures, ensures rigorous compliance, and implements comprehensive data protection strategies across the infrastructure.</li>\n <li>Troubleshoots and resolves complex technical issues, providing expert-level support for identity and access management.</li>\n <li>Utilizes advanced automation tools and methodologies to optimize cloud operations, streamline deployment processes, and enhance operational efficiency.</li>\n <li>Implements sophisticated services and strategies to optimize cloud spending, proactively identifying and leveraging cost-saving opportunities.</li>\n <li>Designs and deploys advanced identity and access management (IAM) solutions, such as Entra ID, Single Sign-On, and multi-factor authentication, to ensure secure and efficient access control across all systems.</li>\n <li>Performs other duties as required or assigned, which are reasonably within the scope and responsibility of the job level and family.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience </li>\n <li>5 years minimum prior relevant experience (8 years preferred)</li>\n <li>Required Skills: Agile Development, Analytical Thinking, Application Development, Attention to Detail, Collaboration, Database Structures, Effective Communication, Initiative, IT Architecture, IT Environment, Network Architecture, Network Protocols, Network Security, Operating System, Problem Solving, Programming, Software Development Life Cycle, Software Engineering, Structured Query Language (SQL), System Testing, Time Management, Web Development</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Compensation & Benefits</h2>\n<p>The American Heart Association invests in its people.
