This position will include operating FJC Charter aircraft as well as performing associated office duties. </p><p><br/></p><p>This position has an excellent compensation and relocation package for qualified and experienced individuals.</p><p><strong>Reports To: </strong>The Chief Pilot reports directly to the Director of Operations.</p><p><br/></p><p>Requirements</p><p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Duties include the following (other duties may be assigned as required by management)</strong></p><ul><li>Supervises and manages flight crews in coordination with the Director of Operations. </li><li>Coordinates in assigning crew to trips. </li><li>Assists the Director of Operations in formulating and implementing operations policies and procedures. </li><li>Assists with adding and removing aircraft from FJC Charter certificate and ensuring that the aircraft are properly equipped for applicable operations.</li><li>Ensures proper documentation is onboard all aircraft.</li><li>Maintains aircraft and crew profiles with various entities.</li><li>Maintains aircraft weight and balance program.</li><li>Submits all requested reports regarding flight personnel to the Director of Operations.</li><li>Ensures that all flight crew personnel are qualified and current in accordance with FJC Charter Operations Specifications and the Applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.</li><li>Ensures that all aerodromes and routes served by FJC Charter are operationally suitable and meet FJC Charter standards and requirements.</li><li>Disseminates information to all crewmembers pertaining to routes, airports, NOTAMS, NAVAIDS, company policies, and regulations</li><li>Has authority to act for the Certificate holder, including the signing of FAA correspondence and operations specifications.</li><li>Manages FJC Charter MEL program.</li><li>Maintains proficiency as Pilot-in-Command (PIC) – Complies with all FARs, Operations Specifications, Company Policies, and Company Procedures.</li><li>Must meet all required qualifications stated in CFR Part 119.71.</li><li>Provides exceptional courtesy, professionalism and customer service to FJC Charter clients and owners.</li><li>Remains knowledgeable relative to the applicable portions of the FJC Charter General Operations Manual (GOM).</li><li>Ensures the safety and quality of all assigned duties and responsibilities by actively and positively participating in FJC Charter SMS program.</li></ul><p><br/></p><p><strong>Knowledge, Skills, and Experience</strong></p><p><strong>Required</strong></p><ul><li>Total Time: Minimum 2500 hours total time 1200 hours pilot in command that includes 500 hours cross country time. 100 hours of night time and 75 hours of actual or simulated instrument time. </li><li>3+ years of leadership / management experience.</li><li>Meet all required qualifications state in CFR Part 119.71</li><li>Current and valid Pilot’s Certificate with an English proficient endorsement.</li><li>Valid Commercial Instrument multi-engine rating.</li><li>Able to maintain a Second-Class Medical.</li><li>Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or have equivalent years of professional aviation experience</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.</li><li>Must be able to work as a part of a team in a high stress, fast paced environment.</li><li>Highly motivated, organized and attentive to detail.</li><li>Extremely computer proficient.</li><li>Knowledgeable of all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.</li><li>Able to lift 50 pounds, climb, kneel, squat, sit and stand for extended periods.</li><li>Able to read, write, and speak English.</li><li>Provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States.</li><li>No violation of FAA regulations within the last five (5) years. </li></ul><p><strong>Highly Desirable</strong></p><ul><li>Chief Pilot Experience</li><li>Prior FAR Part 135 experience.</li><li>King Air 90/200 experience preferred</li></ul><p>This position is a DOT Safety Sensitive position, which will require placement in a random drug test pool.
