May supervise office/field administrative staff, project/field engineers, assistant project/construction managers, and other assigned staff.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Essential Duties & Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Primary contact and liaison for owner and principle partner entities for the contract, design, systems, procedures and related deliverables</li>\n <li>Develops project specific procedures and documentation, and may consult with Owner on design and construction contracts and related A/E systems for the project</li>\n <li>Functional knowledge of contracts, drawings, estimates, and specifications to ensure compliance with construction/project requirements</li>\n <li>Obtains, maintains, and manages data, information, communications, and approvals required by project and company requirements between owner, architects, engineers, and other project-related entities</li>\n <li>Represents owner, project and related parties in public forums and meetings</li>\n <li>Manages project controls, cost, and performance activities and procedures, project logistics, organization, systems and project closeout</li>\n <li>Leads in project meetings to include documentation, administration, and tracking of relevant information and statuses</li>\n <li>May coordinate, direct, and monitor activities of construction management staff, contractors, engineers, architects, and related performing entities </li>\n <li>Manages bid phase services, as may be required by the client</li>\n <li>Performs other duties as required</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Minimum Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Minimum of 5 years of experience in management of multiple design and construction projects</li>\n <li>BS or BS in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Urban Planning, or a closely related field. 4 years additional qualifying experience in excess to the minimum stated above may be substituted for the required education.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<p>- Experience within a large capital improvement program and familiarity with relevant provisions of the California Public Contract Code.- 2 years' experience in educational facility construction- Experience in formal construction partnering- A current and valid Certificate of Registration as an Architect by the California Architectural Board or as a Professional Engineer by the California State Board for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors. - Experience with Division of State Architect (DSA) construction/design processes or similar processes.- A valid Construction Manager (CCM) credential by the Construction Manager Certification Institute (CMCI)- Knowledge and application of master planning, A/E solicitation, project development, design-phase management, construction estimating, cost, project controls/scheduling and closeout.- Strong computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite products, and experience with project-related systems such as E-Builder, Proliance and Primavera- Experience in alternative delivery methods; Design-Built experience strongly desired- Ability to multi-task, solve problems and successfully deliver projects</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Benefits</strong></p>\n<p>Vanir offers a comprehensive, competitive benefits package that includes 401(k) Savings with employer matching contributions, medical, dental, vision, health savings account (HSA) with employer contributions, life, AD&D and disability benefits, flexible spending account (FSA), voluntary benefits, Teladoc, pet insurance, paid time off, national employee assistance program (EAP) and employee referral program.</p>\n<h2>How to Apply</h2>\n<p>If you're interested in working for Vanir please visit our website to learn more and to apply online at www.vanir.com.</p>\n<p>   </p>\n<p>VEVRAA Federal Contractor</p>\n<p>Request Priority Protected Veteran Referrals</p>\n<p>EOE Minorities/Females/Protected Veterans/Disabled</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Contact Email: [email protected]</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Persons with medical limitations may, with reasonable accommodations, be capable of performing the duties of this position.
