We seek motivated professionals to support our strong and growing project pipeline.</p>\n<p>At REE, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with industry experts, work on high impact projects and accelerate your professional growth, at one of our office locations in <strong>Perth, Brisbane</strong>, <strong>Gold Coast</strong>, <strong>Sydney</strong> or <strong>Melbourne</strong>.</p>\n<p>Our projects include:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Dam design</li>\n <li>Dam safety reviews</li>\n <li>Dam breach and failure consequence assessments</li>\n <li>Mine site infrastructure design</li>\n <li>Drainage design and surface water management plans</li>\n <li>Climate change assessments</li>\n <li>Closure studies and design</li>\n <li>Sitewide flood studies</li>\n <li>Water balance studies</li>\n <li>Hydraulic infrastructure design</li>\n <li>Tailings management studies</li>\n <li>Environmental impact studies</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>This role will give you the opportunity to:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Undertake hydraulic, hydrology and water balance modelling with guidance from senior and principal engineers</li>\n <li>Work closely with Engineers-of-Record (EoR) on long-term operational projects</li>\n <li>Support the development of Consequence Category assessments, including dam break modelling</li>\n <li>Assist in a range of surface water management studies and investigations from concept through to detailed design</li>\n <li>Liaise with other internal disciplines and sub-consultants. This includes international branches of Geosyntec</li>\n <li>Work with the CAD team to develop project documentation</li>\n <li>Build and maintain strong relationships with clients</li>\n <li>Technical report writing and proposal preparation</li>\n <li>Participate in National and International Conferences</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Education and Licensure</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering, or a related field of study. (required) </li>\n <li>Eligible for membership with Engineers Australia, with the ability to obtain RPEQ/NER once adequately qualified. (required)</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Skills, Experience and Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Approx. 4 to 8 years of consulting experience operating within the water resources sector (required) </li>\n <li>Experience in hydrologic and hydraulic modelling (e.g. TUFLOW, HEC-RAS, RORB, WBNM, Flow-2D) (required) </li>\n <li>Water balance studies (GoldSim) (required)</li>\n <li>Competent in the use of GIS package/s (required) </li>\n <li>Working knowledge of ARR guidelines (required) </li>\n <li>Highly experienced in technical report writing (required) </li>\n <li>Experienced in proposal writing and project management (required) </li>\n <li>Strong written and verbal communication skills (required)</li>\n <li>Experience in the following software: GoldSim </li>\n</ul>\n<p>Highly regarded skills & experience:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Additional hydrologic and hydraulic modelling packages</li>\n <li>Familiarity with dam safety guidelines including ANCOLD, GISTM, CDA and DES</li>\n <li>Dam break and consequence assessment studies</li>\n <li>Dam storage allowance, and spillway design</li>\n <li>Stormwater management plans and/or erosion and sediment control</li>\n <li>Civil or tailings engineering</li>\n <li>Experience in the following software: 12d, AutoCAD, Civil3D, Muk3D</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>",
