    "description": "<p><strong>Department: Back of House      </strong></p>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Supervisor Title: Executive Housekeeper, Assistant General Manager, General Manager</strong></p>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Job Summary: Perform all laundry room duties to provide clean and folded linen and terry in an efficient and effective manner.</strong></p>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p>\r\n\r\n<ul><li>Sort, wash, dry, and fold all linen and terry.</li>\r\n\t<li>Pull out of circulation stained linen and terry and set aside for extra treatment.</li>\r\n\t<li>Keep all equipment clean and report any maintenance issues to supervisor.</li>\r\n\t<li>Keep laundry room and linen/terry storage rooms stocked, clean, and organized.</li>\r\n\t<li>Keep all laundry and cleaning supplies stocked and stored properly.</li>\r\n\t<li>Assist housekeepers in stripping rooms of dirty linen and terry and help stock housekeeping carts.</li>\r\n\t<li>Be knowledgeable about daily hotel operations. Be up-to-date with all changes, new procedures and events.</li>\r\n\t<li>Be flexible in regard to work schedule.</li>\r\n\t<li>Report to work on time and in proper and clean uniform, including name tag.</li>\r\n\t<li>Each associate is expected to carry out all reasonable requests by management.</li>\r\n\t<li>Handle all duties according to hotel policies, procedures, internal rules and standards.</li>\r\n\t<li>Have knowledge about guest rooms, locations, amenities, features and all other services offered by the hotel.</li>\r\n\t<li>Have knowledge about all emergency procedures and know how to act on them.</li>\r\n</ul><ul><li>Be aware of current guest service scores, and be able to understand guest comments and needs. Be an active participant in achieving the GSS goals of the hotel.</li>\r\n</ul><ul><li>Report any unusual occurrences or requests to the manager.</li>\r\n\t<li>Assist fellow associates in their jobs when able to improve daily operations of the hotel.</li>\r\n\t<li>Pick-up room keys to assigned areas daily.
