The Intact Program serves families involved with the Illinois Department of Children &amp; Families due to reports of abuse or neglect. The goal is to positively intervene to keep children safe so they may remain in their home environment.</p><p>To learn more about the program on our website, go to <a href=\"http://www.bethany-qc.org/\" target=\"_blank\">www.bethany-qc.org</a>, click on Services, Child Welfare Services, and Intact Family Services.</p><p><strong><u><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Salary Range: $46,000.00 to $51,000.00 depending on experience/education.</span></u></strong></p><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong>Intact Family Services - Child Welfare Specialist Position Benefits:</strong></p><ul><li>Competitive Compensation,</li><li>Ten (10) days of <strong>vacation</strong> earned during the first year of employment and twenty (20) days of vacation earned during the second year of employment,</li><li>Twelve (12) <strong>sick</strong> days earned each year,</li><li>Eleven (11) paid <strong>holidays</strong>,</li><li>Agency contributions of 8% calculated on bi-weekly earnings to a 403(b) Thrift Plan (<strong>retirement plan</strong>) upon meeting plan eligibility criteria,</li><li>An <strong>option of two health plans</strong>, one with a <strong>Health Savings Account benefit that includes employer contributions</strong>,&nbsp;</li><li><strong>Dental</strong> insurance,</li><li><strong>Vision</strong> insurance (<strong>100% employer-paid premiums if enrolled in the dental insurance plan</strong>),</li><li>Group <strong>Life Insurance</strong>,</li><li>Options of employee-paid premiums for <strong>voluntary supplemental insurance</strong> offered, and</li><li>An <strong>Educational</strong><strong>&nbsp;Aid</strong> program.</li></ul><p><strong>Intact Family Services - Child Welfare Specialist Qualifications:</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>A Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in social work or related field, &nbsp;</li><li>Relevant child welfare experience preferred,</li><li>Must be able to pass background checks and meet all agency and DCFS requirements for the position,</li><li>Must have the ability to provide own transportation and hold a valid drivers&rsquo; license and vehicle insurance, and</li><li>Applicants must demonstrate computer proficiency, strong organizational skills, and possess strong written and verbal communication skills.</li></ul><p><strong>Intact Family Services - Child Welfare Specialist Performance Objectives:</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Job responsibilities include providing in-home case management, crisis intervention, support, education, monitoring of child safety and service linkages for families involved with the Department of Children &amp; Families due to reports of abuse or neglect.&nbsp;</li><li>The position is based in Moline, but will serve Rock Island, Henry, and Mercer counties in Illinois.&nbsp;</li><li>Applicants must be willing to work flexible hours and conduct home visits at times conducive to client schedules, including some evenings and weekends.&nbsp;</li><li>Applicants must be able to respond effectively to crisis, work collaboratively with other service providers, build rapport with clients, and provide strength-based services to a diverse population.</li><li>Applicants must be able to work independently as well as in a team context, and adhere to agency and DCFS policies.&nbsp;</li><li>Applicants must be willing to travel and provide services in the client&rsquo;s home.</li></ul><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong>Come join our team and help make a difference in the lives of area children &amp; families!</strong></p><p>EOE</p></div></div></div></div></div></div></div>\n    </div>\n  </div>\n",
