Join DCI today to build relationships and gain fulfillment serving individuals in our comfortable clinical setting with a lower caregiver-to-patient ratio than other providers.</p>\n<p>A <strong>Dialysis Registered Nurse</strong> provides specialized nursing care at one of DCI’s in-center hemodialysis units as part of a patient care team. Our RNs are integral in ensuring safe care and the highest quality outcomes are prioritized for every patient.</p>\n<p><strong>Schedule</strong>: Full-time, three 14-hour shifts starting at 4:30am; Sundays off; no overnight shifts</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Compensation</strong>: Pay ranges from $40-$60 per hour, depending on nursing and dialysis experience</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Benefits</strong>:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Paid 12-week training with preceptor</li>\n <li>Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits</li>\n <li>Life and long-term disability insurance are provided at no additional expense to the employee</li>\n <li>Paid time off (PTO), including holidays</li>\n <li>Extended Sick Bank (ESB) in addition to PTO – paid time for doctor appointments, sickness, or medical leave</li>\n <li>Retirement plans with $.50 of each contributed dollar matched for eligible employees, up to 8 percent</li>\n <li>Education reimbursement</li>\n <li>Employee assistance program</li>\n <li>Wellness program</li>\n <li>Among others</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>What You Can Expect:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Prepare dialysis machine, its alarms, and treatment supplies and ensure quality standards are met</li>\n <li>Perform hemodialysis treatments per facility policies and procedures</li>\n <li>Ongoing patient education, training and health coaching</li>\n <li>Monitor patients during dialysis, assessing and communicating changes with physician and families</li>\n <li>Administer and chart all prescribed medications</li>\n <li>Follow CDC/CMS infection control regulations</li>\n <li>Participate in patient care conferences, rounds and chart reviews</li>\n <li>Document required patient education efforts</li>\n <li>Facilitate continuity of care with local hospitals</li>\n <li>Assist in medication inventory maintenance</li>\n <li>Lead a small patient care team</li>\n <li>Contribute to onboarding new staff members as directed</li>\n <li>Additional tasks as requested</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Successful Candidates Bring:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Excellent communication skills</li>\n <li>Demonstrated clinical excellence</li>\n <li>Desire to collaborate with care teams</li>\n <li>Ability to problem solve</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Education/Training:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Accredited nursing degree required</li>\n <li>Dialysis experience not required, job shadow opportunities available</li>\n <li>DCI provides 3-months of comprehensive training, including classroom group sessions and one-on-one skills training</li>\n <li>New graduates encouraged to apply</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>DCI is committed to building a diverse and inclusive organization.
