This commitment is embodied in Company policy and the ways in which we do business at Hometown America, and it is an important principle of sound business management.&nbsp;<br><br>We have a unique opportunity available for a Community Manager at Eden Roc located in Hayward, CA. &nbsp;Eden Roc is a all-age community with 200 sites.&nbsp;<br><br>As a Property/Community Manager, you will:</div><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Develop positive and productive relationships with residents to nurture a strong sense of community;</li><li>Be visible and accessible to residents and customers;</li><li>Tour the property regularly to identify needs and concerns of homeowners and renters, and resolve their issues in a timely manner;</li><li>Manage the day-to-day operations which include rent collections, revenue, expense and budget controls, residency screening and approval, and capital improvements projects;</li><li>Participate in meetings with local regulatory agencies and authorities as needed;&nbsp;</li><li>Sell and lease homes, manage home refurbishment projects and new construction;</li><li>Support and supervise property staff by interviewing, hiring, orienting, and training employees, and manage their performance in accordance with company policies, core values, and business practices;</li><li>Approve invoices from vendors, contractors, and service providers for payments by reconciling work performed or products purchased, ensuring validity of certificates of insurance, coding charges to appropriate chart of account codes, and managing communication between the vendor/contractor and accounting; and</li><li>Plan and/or support resident relations events reflective of diverse resident demographics &amp; manage communication channels with the client base.</li></ul><p>To be successful in this role, Hometown America looks for the following attributes and/or transferable experience and skills acquired in a different industry or in a different context:</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Prior residential property management experience;</li><li>Strong focus on customer service in balance with community guideline enforcement;</li><li>Prior supervisory experience;</li><li>Proven collections experience;</li><li>Demonstrated leasing or sales success;</li><li>Excellent organizational, problem-solving, project and time management skills;</li><li>The ability to work flexible hours, including Saturdays or other times outside of normal business hours for emergency situations; and,</li><li>Computer skills including MS Office products and web-based applications.</li><li>A current, valid driver&#39;s license from the state where the community is located is required before driving a company-owned vehicle or before driving a personal vehicle on company business.</li></ul><p>Our hiring process includes criminal background and driving record checks.</p><p><strong>We offer:</strong></p><ul><li>Competitive wages</li><li>Bonus opportunity</li><li>Benefits package, complete with comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage</li><li>Health and dependent care flexible spending accounts</li><li>401(k) with 20% company match</li><li>Life and disability insurance</li><li>Paid time off (2 weeks of vacation in your first year, plus personal days, sick pay and 9 company-paid holidays)</li></ul><p><strong>Why Work at this company?</strong></p><p>The culture at Hometown America is one of shared values and vision.
