In this key role you will be primarily driving new business and expanding relationships with existing clients. You will be responsible for positioning Macrobond’s comprehensive economic and financial data solutions to meet the needs of investment professionals, government institutions, and corporate clients. Macrobond has a decent client base in Singapore, yet there remains significant untapped potential. In markets like India and Southeast Asia, where we are still relatively new, there is ample opportunity for growth. This is an exciting opportunity to join Macrobond as we accelerate our growth and build strong foundations across our company.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Job Responsibilities</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">New Business Development</span>: Proactively target and acquire new clients by identifying market trends and key industry opportunities. Present Macrobond’s platform capabilities to prospects, demonstrating the value of our integrated data and analysis tools.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Account Management</span>: Build strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction while uncovering upsell and cross-sell opportunities. Collaborate closely with customer success and support teams to maintain and grow client accounts.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Sales Strategy</span>: Develop and execute a regional sales plan that aligns with Macrobond’s global strategy. Leverage market intelligence to identify opportunities in specific sectors, regions, or themes that align with Macrobond’s data offerings.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Solution Selling</span>: Understand client challenges and requirements to offer tailored solutions using Macrobond’s data products, including API integrations and automated workflows. Provide demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, and support in closing deals.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Collaboration</span>: Work alongside the marketing, product, and research teams to ensure clients have access to Macrobond’s chart packs, thematic analysis, and weekly market insights</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Required Qualifications and experience</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum 5-10 years of hands-on strategic B2B sales experience, preferably within SaaS and financial services</li>\n<li>Has experience in selling into Singapore, Southeast Asia and India</li>\n<li>Experienced, proactive and strategic solutions sales professional with a track record of success selling software or data driven solutions to the investment community, ideally, economists, analysts and strategist from banks and asset owners and managers.</li>\n<li>Track record of achieving/exceeding sales quota and market share goals.</li>\n<li>Excellent networking ability.</li>\n<li>Skilled Solution seller with proven ability to build win-win proposals.</li>\n<li>Able to prospect remotely into those markets from Singapore</li>\n<li>Ability to speak Thai/Bahasa will be a plus</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><br></span><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">What You’ll Bring</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Driven and self-motivated and the desire to work in a high-performance culture with continual development</li>\n<li>An ability to define and communicate a compelling value proposition</li>\n<li>Experience selling within a complex sales cycle preferred over transactional sales experience</li>\n<li>Desire to learn and personally demo the Macrobond platform to prospects, and build existing knowledge of macroeconomics and financial markets</li>\n<li>An excellent long-term relationship builder, with the ability to initiate and sustain relationships with large, medium, and small sized prospective customers.</li>\n<li>A team player with the ability to work collaboratively with disparate international teams, as well as work independently</li>\n<li>Ability to manage priorities and effectively time manage with flexible approach.</li>\n<li>Self-motivated and able to work under pressure.</li>\n<li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><br></span><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Our commitment to Diversity</span></span></p>\n<p>At Macrobond, diversity, equity, and inclusion are fundamental to our culture and success.
