They will work closely with project Supervisors and Production team to carry out lighting and lookdev tasks throughout the project schedule.</span></span></span><br><br><span style=\"font-size:11pt;\"><span style=\"line-height:107%;\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri, sans-serif;\"><b>MAIN DUTIES:</b></span></span></span><br><span style=\"font-size:11pt;\"><span style=\"line-height:107%;\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri, sans-serif;\">The Lighter work closely with VFX, CG and Lighting supervisors to develop realistic lighting solutions. They will translate 2D concepts and use a wide variety of lighting techniques to capture the vision laid out by Creative Director and VFX sups, communicate and collaborate clearly and effectively with 2D, CG and production teams, and work within the show structure and production deadlines to complete all lighting &amp; rendering tasks. They will also be responsible for the following:</span></span></span><ul><li style=\"margin-left:8px;\"><span style=\"font-size:11pt;\"><span style=\"line-height:107%;\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri, sans-serif;\">Responsible for pre-comps, quality checking for any issues on render passes, and setting up render settings</span></span></span></li><li style=\"margin-left:8px;\"><span style=\"font-size:11pt;\"><span style=\"line-height:107%;\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri, sans-serif;\">Debug any issues when building out scenes and making sure renders are efficient</span></span></span></li><li style=\"margin-left:8px;\"><span style=\"font-size:11pt;\"><span style=\"line-height:107%;\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri, sans-serif;\">Communicate clearly and efficiently with compositors and provide any elements needed</span></span></span></li></ul><br><span style=\"font-size:11pt;\"><span style=\"line-height:107%;\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri, sans-serif;\"><b>WHAT YOU BRING:</b></span></span></span><br><span style=\"font-size:11pt;\"><span style=\"line-height:107%;\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri, sans-serif;\">The ideal candidate must have prior working experience with Houdini lighting, as well as prior working experience in Lighting and Rendering for VFX. They must be able to take directions and adjust the course of action as needed, and they must be able to contribute and communicate creative and technical ideas and solutions.
