This is a fantastic opportunity to start a rewarding career with Lanes Group, working closely with one of our most exciting clients and contributing to their AMP8 objectives.</span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">About the Role</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">As a Site Supervisor, you will:</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Be responsible for leading operational teams within a defined catchment, ensuring seamless end-to-end management of all works while delivering an exceptional customer journey. You will ensure everyone within your team is performing their responsibilities. Your responsibilities will also include carrying out site inspections, coordinating the crews from your depot, managing any fleet issues as well as evaluating employee performance. </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"color: black\">Work with the Senior Management Team, Client and Local Authority to agree extent of works and Maintain relationships throughout.</span></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"color: black\">Maintain positive relationships with clients, addressing any concerns or requests promptly and professionally.</span></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"color: black\">Experience and ability to encourage and enable personal development.</span></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Work closely with planning and scheduling teams to ensure effective resource allocation, job prioritisation, and workforce coordination.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with the standards, policies and procedures of Lanes Group and its customers.<br></span></li>\n<li>Leads and controls Civils Operatives and Gangers engaged in all activities concerned with the civil works aspects of the contract.<span> </span>Ability to optimise resources by ensuring that the work is scheduled out appropriately with the assistance of the scheduling team.<span> </span><br></li>\n<li>Responsible for managing the teams fleet/plant and material requirements to ensure efficient and timely completion of the works. Able to demonstrate good organisational skills, following policies, procedures, and work practices, and developing improvements where necessary.</li>\n<li>Ability to produce method statements and procedures. Competent in reading and understanding specifications, drawings, and all other discipline related to work<span> </span><span>and engineering documentation. Keeps records of all work completed.<span> </span></span><span>Ensuring our client systems are updating in real time.<span> </span></span><span> </span></li>\n<li>Commands respect of their workforce and develops excellent working relationships with all other department personnel as well as client management.</li>\n<li>Must be a confident communicator to liaise both with internal and external clients.</li>\n<li>Able to give instructions in an efficient and effective way to the workforce and responsible for the daily management of the teams.</li>\n<li>Ability to read and interpret drawings, including excavation dimensions, pipe and re<span>bar angles, concrete mixtures, location, and placement of pipe sections and understand shoring designs.</span></li>\n<li>Ensures that work crews are properly supplied with tools, equipment, and materials. Prevents wastage and misuse of equipment, materials, and tools.
