This exciting ownership positions us for continued impacts and growth in the future.</p>\n<h2>Essential Functions & Responsibilities </h2>\n<p><strong>Warehouse & Purchasing Manager   </strong><strong></strong>As a key member of Arcwood Environmental’s Procurement Team, the Warehouse & Purchasing Manager is responsible for managing all operational purchasing activities at the site level across multiple categories. This role oversees purchase order issuance, supplier performance monitoring, inventory control, and continuity of supply—ensuring minimal disruptions to operations.</p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p>This position is central to driving strategic procurement initiatives and delivering value by acting as the primary point of contact for all site-level purchases. As Arcwood transforms its procurement model, this role will play a pivotal part in streamlining local procurement operations, optimizing supplier relationships, achieving cost efficiencies, and upholding sustainability goals. The Warehouse and Purchasing Manager will help align procurement activities with the company’s mission of innovation, operational excellence, and environmental responsibility.</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Prioritizes health and safety by adhering to policies, processes, and maintaining safe practices at all times</li>\n <li>Oversees the purchasing and inventory functions at designated plant sites to ensure continuity of supplies</li>\n <li>Manages warehouse personnel, schedules work hours, advises on personnel issues, and completes performance reviews and disciplinary actions as needed </li>\n <li>Mentors warehouse team members to foster a continuous improvement mindset and promote our core value of <em>The Freedom to</em> <em>Do More</em> </li>\n <li>Creates, codes, and receives purchase orders in PeopleSoft and KeepStock inventory systems</li>\n <li>Orders materials and schedules deliveries for operational needs and inventory replenishment</li>\n <li>Monitors market trends, pricing, supplier reliability, and delivery schedules to anticipate material needs and align with Corporate procurement strategies</li>\n <li>Manages a robust cycle count program and conducts root cause analyses for inventory discrepancies</li>\n <li>Develops and maintains strong vendor relationships to ensure consistent and cost-effective supplies</li>\n <li>Executes purchasing strategies focused on cost reduction, supplier quality, and performance improvement</li>\n <li>Collaborates with plant leadership, safety teams, and operations leads to address site-specific requirements</li>\n <li>Maintains and updates Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to site inventory systems and processes</li>\n <li>Resolves supplier issues involving delivery, quality, pricing, or terms of sale</li>\n <li>Supports the organization in optimizing asset utilization and reducing operational costs</li>\n <li>Acts as a key liaison between Corporate procurement and field operations to ensure efficient use of company resources at both local and national levels</li>\n <li>Contributes to shaping and executing the strategic vision for procurement at Arcwood</li>\n <li>Promotes a positive, inclusive, and high-morale work environment across all levels of the organization</li>\n <li>Maintains the ability to travel to other locations as needed, up to 10%</li>\n <li>Takes on additional duties as assigned to support the team and organization</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Education </h2>- Bachelor’s degree (required); coursework in business, supply chain/operations, finance, or engineering (preferred)\n<h2>Experience</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>5+ years of purchasing and warehousing experience in an industrial setting (required) </li>\n <li>5+ years of management experience (required)</li>\n <li>Previous experience in the hazardous waste or environmental services industry (preferred) </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Benefits, Compensation & Workforce Diversity</h2>Arcwood offers competitive pay and bonus incentives.
