As Legal Counsel, you will directly influence business outcomes by guiding contract strategy, mitigating risk, and supporting impactful projects that shape communities nationwide.</p><hr><p><strong>Your Impact</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Provide legal support for the negotiation, drafting, and interpretation of complex contracts across ERI and E&amp;E sectors</li><li>Deliver timely, practical legal advice to project teams throughout the full project lifecycle</li><li>Advise internal stakeholders on legal, commercial, and risk-related matters</li><li>Draft and review legal documents, including contract templates and client agreements</li><li>Support bid processes by reviewing RFPs and contributing to service proposals</li><li>Assess project risks and present findings to internal risk committees for approval</li><li>Ensure compliance with corporate governance, policies, and applicable laws and regulations</li><li>Collaborate with Claims &amp; Litigation teams on disputes and contractual matters</li></ul><hr><p><strong>The Skills That Set You Apart</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Member in good standing of a Canadian provincial Bar with minimum 3 years’ experience</li><li>Proven experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements in construction and/or engineering environments</li><li>Strong understanding of risk management and business fundamentals</li><li>Experience with major project delivery models (EPCM, design-build, partnerships) is an asset</li><li>Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex legal concepts</li><li>Strong analytical, organizational, and multitasking abilities</li><li>Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary stakeholders</li><li>Bilingualism (French and English) is an asset</li></ul><hr><p><strong>Why Choose WSP?</strong></p><p>Why Choose WSP?
