Description
General Summary:
The Specialty Court Coordinator plans, organizes, coordinates and oversees daily operations of Recovery Court and RESTART Court. They collaborate with an interdisciplinary team (judge, prosecutors, defense attorneys, probation officers, treatment providers and clinicians) to ensure participants receive integrated supervision and services. The coordinator represents the Specialty Courts to the community and obtains MOUs from community resources. The Specialty Court Coordinator obtains and maintains grants and program statistical data and oversees grant budgets and timely submission of grants.
Essential Duties:
Oversees referral, screening and intake process. Coordinates clinical evaluations and assists with monitoring individualized treatment or case plans; tracks participant progress, compliance, outcomes and recidivism. Attends and coordinates Specialty court hearings, staffing’s, and Steering Committee and Advisory Board meetings. Schedules and maintains dockets and proceedings; maintains accurate records, databases and filing systems; prepares reports for the court, funders, stakeholders and grants. Ensure adherence to grant requirements and best practices. Manage grants, budgets and funding (including reporting and reimbursement tracking); prepare statistical reports on program performance and outcomes; Organize training, events or continuing education; maintain confidentiality and compliance with privacy laws. Responsible for public outreach, volunteer coordination, preparing and obtaining MOUs, and assisting with fundraising and development. Responsible for scheduling, planning and preparing commencement. All other duties as requested.
