Job mission: Full-Time Class A CDL Drivers primary duties are to transport equipment, machinery, and other non-hazardous materials to contracted sites. Prior to and throughout the winter season, drivers will be responsible for transporting equipment needed for effective treatment on contracted sites. While during the off-season drivers are responsible to completing interstate trips to transport machinery throughout the US. Experience in snow removal operating plow trucks is a strong skill to have in this position. Drivers will be required to work long shifts at times. All while following electronic driving log procedures when operating large vehicles. As a rapid growing company, we always offer opportunity to grow for those interested! Position Responsibilities: Create a safe working environment by obeying and adhering to all safety rules, policies and procedures Safely transporting heavy machinery to work sites and other states Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks Read and understand snow maps Keep roadways free of ice and snow using snowplows and other snow removal and/or salting equipment if needed during the winter season Report any accidents, incidents, and equipment failures to supervisor immediately May be required to work long shifts during precipitation events and snowstorms Required to be available for emergency response as needed for overtime at night evenings, weekends, and holidays Transporting equipment and machinery within throughout the US Effectively communicate with office team confirming scheduling availability Be available and arrive on time when scheduled Qualifications: Class A CDL Operation Experience of 2-3 years REQUIRED Use of electronic driving logging REQUIRED Pre-employment drug and alcohol testing REQUIRED Clean driving record REQUIRED Must have own transportation to and from work Available to work a flexible schedule from November to April Available to work nights, weekends and holidays when needed Available to work long hours to complete full snow removal and cleanup Ability to work well independently or with a team Strong communication skills to confirm availability for events Ability to adapt in fast changing environment during winter season Ability to endure seasonal temperatures as working conditions require constant outdoor work during winter season Physical Demands Employees are regularly required to sit; walk on a wide range of surfaces; use hands and fingers, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and talk or hear. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
