You will work closely with a Game Designer utilizing your math and software skills to develop compelling prize-first math models for Arrow’s electronic gaming products.</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Primary Roles and Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Design compelling ‘slot-style’ game math models utilizing prize-first math engine.</li><li>Translate game concepts and mathematical ideas into software using C#.</li><li>Develop and maintain math characteristics metrics to enable data-driven decision-making while iterating on math model design.</li><li>Create and maintain PAR sheets detailing the game math model.</li><li>Develop a working knowledge of North American slot markets, identifying trends ensuring game designs are contemporary and meet market requirements.</li><li>Able to work with the team to align priorities and drive towards solutions, a true team player.</li><li>Passion to create fun games with an engaging player experience.</li><li>Excellent organizational skills.</li><li>Grasp of math principles and probability.</li></ul><p><strong>Experience and Education</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics/Data Analysis/Software Engineering field or equivalent experience.</li><li>Gaming experience highly preferred.</li><li>Experience with C#.</li><li>Experience with Excel.</li><li>Knowledge of other development tools, for example Confluence, JIRA, Bitbucket etc. a plus.</li></ul><p><strong>PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS:</strong></p><p><strong>Vision:</strong></p><ul><li>Close vision</li><li>Depth perception</li><li>Ability to adjust focus</li><li>Peripheral vision</li><li>Ability to distinguish colors</li></ul><p><strong>Physical Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Stand for long periods of time</li><li>Extensive time in front of LCD’s and Electronic Gaming Machine screens</li><li>Repetitive motion to open heavy Electronic Gaming Machine doors</li></ul><p><strong>Work Conditions:</strong></p><ul><li>The ability to move between projects with little notice and the ability to adapt quickly</li><li>Overtime and weekend hours may be required to meet project schedules</li><li>Limited travel may be required</li></ul><p>The physical demands and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
