Overview An exciting opportunity awaits an accomplished hospitality finance leader to open and lead Century City Hotel, a newly reimagined luxury hotel in the heart of Los Angeles, California. Currently undergoing a complete transformation, the property will redefine modern luxury and sophistication in one of the city’s most dynamic and prestigious neighborhoods. Scheduled to reopen in late 2026, the hotel will feature approximately 350–400 guest rooms and suites, a vibrant lobby bar, a signature three-meal restaurant, and a pool, bar, and lounge with panoramic city views—creating a destination for both travelers and locals alike. This is a fast-moving, hands-on Director of Finance opportunity, offering a rare chance to play a key role in shaping the hotel’s financial foundation from pre-opening through stabilization. Working in close partnership with an engaged ownership group and Davidson, the Director of Finance will bring the ownership vision to life through disciplined financial strategy, operational partnership, and a Forbes Five-Star–caliber mindset. Responsibilities The Director of Finance will lead all financial operations for the property, with a strong emphasis on pre-opening, transition, and opening execution. From day one, this role will focus on building a strong financial infrastructure to support a successful reopening. Key responsibilities include establishing financial controls, managing pre-opening accounting and books, and quickly engaging in budgeting and forecasting processes. The Director of Finance will partner closely with operations, ownership, and corporate teams to manage timelines, critical paths, and opening milestones. This role will also be responsible for standing up the finance department, including interviewing, hiring, and developing a high-performing team. While support will be provided, success in this role requires a highly organized, proactive leader who can move quickly, take ownership, and thrive in a dynamic, evolving environment.
