You will have the opportunity to work on new and exciting projects while providing clients with a fully integrated and superior customer experience.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>At Dillon, we operate as one team. This position is available at our Halifax Office.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Design and Project Coordination</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Assistance with the completion of drafting and CAD for variety of project types including mechanical, fire protection and electrical</li>\n <li>Application of 2D and 3D CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and other specialty programs to produce design drawings</li>\n <li>Coordination and completion of field assessments and information gathering</li>\n <li>Ensure the assurance of quality, consistency and integrity of deliverables</li>\n <li>Assist the senior team member during preparation of preliminary drawings/sketches/notes for projects, redlines and plans for submittals</li>\n <li>Assistance to project managers and engineers in the functional and detailed design of building systems</li>\n <li>Collaboration with multidisciplinary team members including engineers, planners, scientists, and technical and administrative support staff</li>\n <li>Business travel to project sites and to  other Dillon offices upon request</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Learning and Development</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Commit to self-development and ongoing learning and professional development</li>\n <li>Contribute to Dillon’s corporate profile through active participation in professional associations and committees</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Diploma from an accredited Electrical Engineering Technologist Program, or equivalent</li>\n <li>5-10+ years of relevant experience</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Experience</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience in the latest versions of AutoCAD and Revit</li>\n <li>Experience in interpreting and implementing relevant codes, standards and regulatory requirements</li>\n <li>Excellent oral and written communication skills</li>\n <li>Highly organized and detail-oriented</li>\n <li>Keen to be part of our growing team</li>\n <li>Strong verbal and written communication, organization and interpersonal skills</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Why choose Dillon</strong></p>\n<p>Dillon is powered by people who are technically proficient, passionate about socially important projects, and motivated to deliver superior, tangible results.
