Other duties may be assigned.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Lead the global software development project team including technical leadership and program timing.</li>\n <li>Design of the software architecture considering the product requirements, software re-use strategy, software maintainability, software development process and industry standards such as AUTOSAR, ASPICE,  MISRA, CERT, UDS, EVITA, Functional Safety standard (ISO 26262), Cyber Security standard (ISO 21434, UN R155/156, CCC)  and others.</li>\n <li>Software Embedded coding using the C and Assembly programming language adhering to industry and internal coding standards and practices.</li>\n <li>Develop, document, review and approve software design specifications.</li>\n <li>Analyze and de-bug software in embedded systems using proper instrumentation equipment.</li>\n <li>Able to integrate, compile, test and verify the entire software package on the target hardware</li>\n <li>Adhere to a rigorous software design and development process.</li>\n <li>Actively lead/participate in software design peer reviews. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p>\n<p>Although the position does not entail direct supervisory responsibilities, technical and project leadership skills are essential to lead the software project team.</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS  </strong></p>\n<p>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering field required with a strong preference for electrical/electronics and computer engineering. </li>\n <li>Five or more years of experience in electronics/embedded software design/development, testing or in a related field with a preference in automotive embedded systems. </li>\n <li>Proficiency with electronics, reading schematics and software testing tools.</li>\n <li>Understanding of ASPICE standards and their practical applications preferred.</li>\n <li>Proficiency with an Application Lifecycle Management tool such as PTC Integrity/CodeBeamer is preferred.</li>\n <li>AUTOSAR implementation knowledge and experience required.</li>\n <li>Wired Communications like CAN, SPI implementation, testing and debug experience required</li>\n <li>BSP (Board Support Package) implementation, testing and debug experience required</li>\n <li>C programming experience required</li>\n <li>Wireless Communications like BLE, UWB and NFC implementation, testing, debug experience preferred</li>\n <li>EVITA Cyber Security implementation experience preferred.</li>\n <li>ASIL functional safety implementation experience preferred.</li>\n <li>Matlab/Autocoding experience preferred.</li>\n <li>DevOps with CICD experience preferred.</li>\n <li>Proficiency in MS Office tools is essential.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong> LANGUAGE SKILLS</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Good oral and written English language skills. </li>\n <li>Strong technical writing skills. </li>\n <li>Ability to effectively represent information and respond to questions in a meeting environment. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>PROBLEM SOLVING</strong></p>\n<p>Self-starter.  The candidate must possess strong analytical capability.
