Description
Job Title: Lead Janitor
Department: Operations
Reports To: Operations Manager
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Summary Keeps premises of buildings in clean and orderly condition. First point of contact for customer and/or vendors when a supervisor or site manager is not available.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Cleans and polishes lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.
Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, and locker rooms and other work areas.
Sweeps, scrubs, waxes, and polishes floor.
Calls in repair requests for equipment as needed.
Ordering janitorial chemicals, consumables, paper products etc.
Cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies.
Dusts furniture and equipment.
Polishes metalwork.
Washes walls, ceiling, and woodwork.
Washes windows, door panels, and sills.
Empties wastebaskets, and empties and cleans ashtrays.
Transports trash and waste to disposal area.
Replenishes bathroom supplies.
Replaces light bulbs.
Cuts and trims grass, and shovels snow.
Delivers messages.
Transports small equipment or tools between departments.
Sets up tables and chairs in auditorium or hall.
Stack and move pallets as needed.

Education and/or Experience

Ordering supplies, quality audits, 1 st line of communication with customer onsite, point of contact for vendor services, calling in equipment repairs, responsible for safety audits and safety observation
3rd shift Sunday - Thursday 9:00pm - 5:30am. Schedule may, change pending production.
Training 2 weeks on 1st shift Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm
