In 2018, Glatfelter joined American International Group (AIG) and is now part of the AIG family.</p><p><strong>About the Position</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Glatfelter Insurance Group is seeking an <strong>Associate Financial Analyst</strong> for our Finance Department who will support financial planning, accounting, accounts receivable, and analysis activities to drive informed business decisions.&nbsp;</p><p>This position is required to be onsite at our York, PA, Leader Heights office.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Develop a broad understanding of finance and accounting duties to serve as both a contributor and back-up to critical roles and functions.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Assist as AR, AP, and/or Payroll key support and backup associate.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Assist in the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Assist in the monthly, quarterly, and annual parent company financial reporting process.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Assist with the annual budgeting process, expense management, and cost allocation processes.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Build and maintain financial models to support business initiatives and expense management.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Support development of enhanced management financial reporting packages.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Contribute to process improvement initiatives.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Contribute to the overall enhancement of financial controls.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Takes advantage of opportunities for professional growth and continued education.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Maintains a high level of confidentiality and a professional demeanor in the performance of duties.</li></ul></div><p><strong>What We&rsquo;re Looking For</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">BS in Accounting from an accredited college or university.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">0-3 years work experience in professional environment, or appropriate transferable skillset</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Strong analytical and problem-solving skills</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (financial modeling, pivot tables, data analysis)</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Familiarity with financial systems (e.g. Oracle)</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ability to work with minimum supervision and interpret and follow guidelines and procedures</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Desire to maintain and expand level of technical skills and professional demeanor</li></ul></div><p><strong>Why Choose Glatfelter?</strong></p><p>Glatfelter is honored to have been named a Best Place to Work in PA since 2005.
