Great opportunity for someone who is a team-oriented, technically skilled, systems-oriented, and has an overall \"Roll Up Your Sleeves\" approach to troubleshooting. Day and swing shifts are available; please indicate if you have a preference. The ideal Conformance Technician will possess at least 2 years of experience working with various formats of digital video sources and encoding, including expertise in Digital Portal specs. </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Quickly comprehend technical specifications and apply that understanding. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Monitor and prioritize a high volume and time sensitive order queue. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure source assets are restored and conformed as required. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Validate video, audio and timed text media assets against a variety of client and internal specifications. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Communicate and document internal rejections to the appropriate teams. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Verify integrity of deliverables and delivery package prior to servicing. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Maintain servicing action logs as needed </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Succinctly and efficiently handoff projects with next-up shifts </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Operate with a high sense of urgency and discretion </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Other tasks as needed to meet project deadlines </li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Essential Qualifications / Competencies</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Conforming audio, video, and subtitle/caption content to platform specifications (iTunes, Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, etc.). </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>High level understanding of subtitling specification and formats, audio sample rates, video frame rates, SMPTE timecode and traditional multichannel audio configurations (2.0, 5.1, 7.1, ATMOS). </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Understanding of industry format standards such as PAL, NTSC, timecode, framerate, codec, audio settings/configurations, Frame Rate Conversions, captions, subtitles, forced Narrative, SDH </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Knowledge of post-production guidelines and workflows using tools such as Adobe Premiere Suite, Clipster, Transkoder, Cortex, Resolve, and various transcoding utilities such as Compressor, AME, Episode Pro. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate and collaborate with other groups. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong data entry and proofreading skills. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to work independently. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Proficient with both Mac and PC operating systems. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Comfortable with change and able to adapt as needed to meet the needs of our clients.  </li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Desired Skills and Experience</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience in a post-production or media creation environment. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Understanding of video compression and various codecs used by VOD platforms and broadcasters. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to work independently while managing a heavy workload. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong organization skills and ability to prioritize and meet tight deadlines. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Enjoy work in a fast-paced environment. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Excellent oral and written communication skills. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Attention to detail. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>A positive, can-do attitude and team player. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to work flexible shifts (AM, PM, Weekends). </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em>Cineverse Giant Worldwide is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not tolerate or promote discrimination or harassment of any kind.
