    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><p>The position of Lime Applicator is of great significance to Valley Wide Cooperative. A person in this position is responsible for the operation of custom application equipment in the application of lime to customer&rsquo;s fields in a safe, accurate, efficient and timely manner. This is a safety-sensitive position.</p><p><u>Job Summary</u>:</p><p>These are the basic requirements of the position and must be performed competently.<span style=\"background-color: transparent;\">&nbsp;</span></p><ul><li>Loading and mixing lime formulas.</li><li>Ability to follow and interpret lime labels.</li><li>Performing all applications in a timely manner and on schedule.</li><li>Maintaining application logs and other records as necessary.</li><li>Reading field maps and global positioning devices.</li><li>Working around and handling hazardous materials properly.</li><li>Performing daily inspection of equipment and minor repairs as needed.</li><li>Willingness to work extended hours as needed.</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned.&nbsp;</li></ul><p><u>ESSENTIAL JOB QUALIFICATIONS/PREREQUISITES:&nbsp;</u></p><ul><li>High School diploma or GED preferred.</li><li>Must currently have or ability to obtain Professional Applicators license with all applicable endorsements.</li><li>Must have a Class A CDL.</li><li>Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures and regulations. Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions.</li><li>Must have strong communication skills; ability to communicate in an appropriate, professional manner with managers, supervisors, employees, customers, vendors and the general public.</li><li>Must be able to make appropriate decisions and execute them according to policy.</li><li>Must maintain appropriate and expected levels of customer service throughout the location.</li><li>Must have ability to determine order of need and task priority based on level of importance.</li><li>Must exhibit a professional and positive image.</li></ul><p><br></p></div></div>\n",
