We offer:<ul><li>5 Days of PTO</li><li>6 Paid Holidays</li><li>Up to 50% of health insurance premiums paid by Impact</li><li>Access to a retirement plan, financial fitness, and employee savings programs</li></ul><strong>GENERAL PURPOSE</strong><br>This position requires that the employee be responsible for welding frames, legs, and other<br>parts.<br><br><strong>DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES</strong><br>• Setup and operate welding machines (TIG and MIG)<br>• Select proper jig/fixturing as needed<br>• Weld aluminum and steel products as needed<br>• Complete drill and grind operations as needed<br>• Inspect welded parts and fix/correct parts out of spec<br>• Collaborate with others on daily work and special projects<br>• Complete clean-up responsibilities and maintain workstation according to 5S and safety<br>protocols<br>• Understand workplace hazards and take steps to proactively prevent and report<br>hazards or injuries in the workplace. Cooperate in Safety Programs, initiatives, and<br>investigations.<br>• Demonstrate our five core values of Integrity, Customer Responsiveness, Innovation,<br>Passionate Contribution & Empowerment and Continuous Improvement<br><br><strong>JOB REQUIREMENTS</strong><br>Essential Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: <br>• Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings, BOM’s and associated procedures<br>• Ability to use a welder<br>• Ability to follow directions<br>• Flexibility and willingness to adapt to frequently changing priorities/tasks and ability to<br>multitask<br>• Possess a mechanical aptitude<br>• Ability to identify and communicate basic process improvements<br>• Ability to work well in a team environment<br>• Proven reliability – attendance and punctuality<br>• The ability to navigate computer generated production boards and associated processes<br>• The ability to make decisions on incomplete information<br>• Ability to read, write and speak English fluently<br>Minimum Education and Experience Required:<br>• Must have a minimum of a high school diploma or GED.<br>Preferred Qualifications:<br>• Previous work experienced in welding is preferred.<br><br><strong>WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS</strong><br>• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand for up to 10<br>hours/day and make coordinated movements of the hands to grasp/manipulate objects,<br>and to frequently stand, walk, squat/kneel, stoop/bend/twist, reach above shoulder<br>level and below knee level, and push/pull and lift/carry up to 50 lbs. throughout the day<br>and occasionally up to 100 lbs. as needed.  Also requires coordinated movements of the<br>fingers for using a keyboard.<br>• Steel-toed shoes and safety glasses are required for working in this position<br>• Warehouse environment (no air-conditioning)<br>• Steel-toed shoes, welding mask and other supplemental PPE are required for working in<br>this position including but not limited to weld style gloves, arm sleeves and weld<br>jackets/aprons<br><br>Note: Nothing in this job description restricts management’s right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time.<br> <p><em>EOE </em></p>\n\n<p><em>Thank you for your interest in Impact Workforce Solutions, we are proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer and participate in the E-Verify eligibility confirmation program. </em></p>",
