You’ll be at the forefront of automation and AI-driven innovations, delivering capabilities that enhance and scale operational effectiveness.</p>\n<p>Beyond that, you'll play a key role in shaping internal standards, influencing best practices, and actively identifying opportunities to streamline processes, integrate AI, improve tooling, and elevate both internal and customer experiences.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(186, 55, 42); font-weight: bold\">What We’re Looking For</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Automation Engineering Expertise </span>–<br>Design, build, and optimise <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">scalable automation workflows</span> and frameworks to improve efficiency and consistency across cybersecurity operations.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Cybersecurity Domain Knowledge </span>–<br>Strong understanding of key security areas, including threat detection and response, vulnerability management, and incident response, with the ability to apply this knowledge to real-world scenarios.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Security Tooling &amp; Integration </span>– Hands-on experience with <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">enterprise security tools</span> (EDR, XDR, SIEM), including integration and orchestration to enhance detection and response capabilities.<br></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Analytical &amp; Solution-Oriented Thinking</span> – Ability to assess complex technical and business challenges, identify root causes, and deliver effective, pragmatic solutions.<br></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Programming &amp; Systems Integration </span>–<br>Strong programming skills with experience developing <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">API-driven integrations </span>and automations across diverse systems.<br></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Stakeholder Collaboration &amp; Communication </span>– Confident working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, contributing to decisions, and ensuring successful delivery of security initiatives.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(186, 55, 42); font-weight: bold\">Required Skills</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>The ideal candidate will have <span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">2+ years of experience in automation engineering, ide</span>ally within a cybersecurity, platform engineering, or software development environment, with a strong focus on building scalable and efficient automation solutions.</li>\n<li>They should demonstrate strong hands-on expertise in designing and developing<span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"> automation that supports security operations, improves response times, and drives operational maturity. Experience with an automation platform such as N8N would be a strong plus.</span></li>\n<li>A solid understanding of core cybersecurity domains is essential, including threat detection and response, vulnerability management, and incident response. Experience working with enterprise security tooling—such as EDR, XDR, and SIEM<span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"> platforms—and integrating these tools into cohesive workflows is highly desirable.</span></li>\n<li>The candidate should possess programming fundamentals<span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">, with experience in languages such as Python, and a good understanding of API-driven integrations and system interoperability across complex environments.</span></li>\n<li>Candidates should be comfortable navigating ambiguity, analysing complex technical challenges<span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">, and </span>delivering pragmatic solutions<span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"> aligned to business and security objectives.</span></li>\n<li>Excellent communication skills are key, with the ability to collaborate<span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"> across technical and non-technical teams, contribute to </span>decision-making<span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">, and support the successful delivery of initiatives.</span></li>\n<li>Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP) and modern infrastructure or automation practices is advantageous.
