This role involves routine inspections, troubleshooting issues, executing preventative maintenance, and responding to service requests. The position includes verifying shipments, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring that products are stored correctly. The technician will collaborate with Department Leadership to maintain facility operations, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.</p>\n<h2>In this position you will have the opportunity to:</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Ensure facilities, training yards, labs, grounds, parking lots and vehicles are maintained, functioning efficiently and have a clean appearance.</li>\n <li>Perform routine inspections and maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance and documents in a work order management system.</li>\n <li>Maintain shop area, tools, and equipment ensuring organization and proper operation.</li>\n <li>Assist the department leadership in coordinating the work of contractors related to maintenance or improvement projects.</li>\n <li>Purchase parts, equipment, and supplies as needed for facilities, training yards and labs, grounds, and vehicles. </li>\n <li>Assist with the set-up of facilities for meetings, classroom events, conferences, general campus events; may work individually or as a team for set-up and tear-down.</li>\n <li>Responsible for custodial duties as needed and as assigned by department leadership (specific requirements and scope of responsibility vary by location).</li>\n <li>Act as primary point of contact for all shipments arriving on campus, receives and unloads all incoming materials and confirms packing slip info matches order to verify shipment against purchase orders in ERP system and places into inventory utilizing RFSmart technology and bar-code system for transactional efficiency. </li>\n <li>Prepare shipments for postal and commercial conveyance, selecting appropriate shipping containers and packs items to ensure safe delivery.</li>\n <li>Inspect and ensure material for quality and specifications and follow ups with vendor regarding damaged or incorrect shipments.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Required Education & Experience</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma or GED.</li>\n <li>Two (2) years prior work experience in facility repairs, general construction, warehouse maintenance, vehicle maintenance, or any combination of equivalent education and experience.</li>\n <li>Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and be able to obtain a Class A CDL with airbrake endorsement and Certified Forklift Operator’s license during first year of employment.</li>\n <li>Proven experience in Receiving/Inventory/Warehousing knowledge.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Technical Requirements/ Core Competencies</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Shipping and Receiving</li>\n <li>Data Entry</li>\n <li>Inventory Management</li>\n <li>Forklift and pallet jack operation</li>\n <li>Safety Standards</li>\n <li>Logistics experience</li>\n <li>ERP Systems knowledge</li>\n <li>Warehouse Management System</li>\n <li>Microsoft Office Suite</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Salary</h2>\n<p>$23.57 - $26.19 per hour, DOE + an outstanding benefits package</p>\n<h2>How to Apply?</h2>\n<p>Visit lineman.edu/careers or click the apply button.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>#NowHiring #HiringNow #FacilitiesTechnician #FacilitiesManagement #BuildingMaintenance #MaintenanceTechnician #WarehouseJobs #BlueCollarJobs #TradesJobs #FloridaJobs #EdgewaterFLJobs</p>",
