With a combined legacy of resilience, Magnera will build personal partnerships that withstand an ever-changing world.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform all tasks in a safe manner.</li>\n <li>Have a clear understanding of and strictly comply with LO/TO policy.</li>\n <li>Troubleshoots and repairs problems with production equipment and continuously monitoring electrical and mechanical devices as part of a predictive and preventive maintenance plan. </li>\n <li>Locate electrical trouble by using multi-meter, amp meter and megger.</li>\n <li>Repair and/or replace defective electrical equipment.</li>\n <li>Assists in calling vendors for assistance with equipment.</li>\n <li>Review work orders with resource as they are received, ask for clarification and confer with the requestor for additional clarification when needed.</li>\n <li>Originate and process emergency work orders when needed.</li>\n <li>Orders parts involved in repair and maintenance with assistance from the maintenance engineering team.</li>\n <li>Performs daily preventive maintenance.</li>\n <li>Good working knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic devices.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of basic electrical principles.</li>\n <li>Performs work in the servicing of pumps, boilers, piping and related equipment.</li>\n <li>Suggests maintenance items to be included in preventive maintenance shutdowns</li>\n <li>Assists in writing and updating standard maintenance procedures. </li>\n <li>Stays informed of process changes which may affect the normal operation of the equipment.</li>\n <li>Performs small installations and equipment modification projects.</li>\n <li>Records all measurements during predictive and preventive maintenance activities to generate statistical charts for analysis.</li>\n <li>Provides training to operations technicians in maintenance activities associated with Total Productive Maintenance practices.</li>\n <li>Maintaining a team effort attitude and approach familiarizes self with new equipment and assists in training other technicians</li>\n <li>Having knowledge of and adhering to all departmental rules and regulations, as well as departmental procedures.</li>\n <li>Perform other duties as assigned. </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Associate’s degree (A.S.) or equivalent from a 2-year college or technical school preferred or equivalent experience.</li>\n <li>5 years of experience working as a maintenance technician or equivalent education in industrial maintenance preferred.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>WORKING CONDITIONS:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Job functions will be performed in and around manufacturing facility</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>EFFORT/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Requires prolonged sitting and frequent bending, stooping and stretching, manual dexterity. </li>\n <li>The ability to occasional lift and carry of up to 50 pounds, frequent lifting up to 25 pounds. </li>\n <li>Required to occasionally ascend and descend up to three flights of stairs over extremely fast-moving machinery. </li>\n <li>Required to safely access fast moving machinery, which includes rolls with inward nip points. </li>\n <li>Ability to work outside normal scheduled working hours when needed in a 24/7/365 operation.</li>\n</ul>",
