In the role you will be removing the burr from parts that were lasered before moving to subsequent processes such as reaming, countersinking, and marking. &nbsp;You will be on your feet all day at a workstation, but you will be moving frequently.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Location:</strong> Eastford, CT</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong><em>This is a full-time role 7:00 am to 3:30 PM Monday through Friday with occasional weekends.&nbsp;</em></strong></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Responsibilities:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Deburr metal details using hand tools to remove burr from cutting</li><li>Countersink and ream holes with presses and hand tools</li><li>Marking parts using electronic etch or dot peen</li><li>Inspect own work using basic inspection equipment and quick-check gaging</li><li>Use Kaizen to flow parts and drive down costs</li><li>Responsible for accurately completing paperwork relating to counts, scrap, time according to Company policy</li><li>Performs other related duties as assigned</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Required Qualifications:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>High School Diploma or GED</li><li>Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.</li><li>Must be able to read and understand work instructions within the work order &nbsp;</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Strong Mechanical skills&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to be on your feet all day</li><li>Ability to use air and electric tools to remove metal</li><li>Willingness to learn new skills&nbsp;</li><li>Understanding and reading basic blueprint skill is a plus</li><li>Self-starter/motivated team player&nbsp;</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Physical Requirements:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Requires mobility in a manufacturing plant environment while using Personal Protective Equipment.&nbsp;</li><li>Must be able to frequently stand and walk</li><li>Must have the ability to use basic hand tools.</li></ul><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Benefits: &nbsp;</strong></p><p>Pursuit Aerospace also offers a variety of benefits, including health and disability insurance, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, EAP, paid time off, and company-paid holidays.
