    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Job Summary </span></p>\n<p>The Business Analytics Practice Lead is responsible to build and lead a consulting practice focused on helping our clients’ executives leverage analytics to drive measurable business outcomes.  This role will define our analytics advisory approach, create executive-level insight frameworks, and develop reusable analytics content and tools on the Omni and Microsoft BI, and Infor Birst platforms.</p>\n<p>The ideal candidate combines strong business acumen, analytics expertise, and consulting leadership experience.  The Business Analytics Practice Lead will act as a trusted advisor to senior customer stakeholders while building scalable methodologies while growing a small, high-impact team.  This role is a business oriented, strategic leader, and a technical expert.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Practice Development &amp; Strategy</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Design and launch a business analytics consulting practice aligned to customer needs in the mid-market ERP space.</li>\n<li>Define service offerings, engagement models, and value proposition for executive audiences</li>\n<li>Establish repeatable frameworks, methodologies, best practices for services delivery.</li>\n<li>Serve as technical lead and mentor for BI developers and analysts</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Analytics &amp; Reporting Leadership</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead the design, development, and deployment of analytics solutions using Power BI, Birst and Omni</li>\n<li>Partner with business stakeholders to define KPIs, metrics, and analytics requirements</li>\n<li>Ensure alignment between business definitions, semantic models, and reporting outputs</li>\n<li>Deliver actionable insights that support executive, operational, and strategic decision-making</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Power BI &amp; Omni Development</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and datasets</li>\n<li>Build and manage <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Omni analytics</span> to ensure consistent metric definitions across tools</li>\n<li>Define business logic centrally in Omni analytics to support governed self-service analytics</li>\n<li>Write and optimize DAX measures and Omni metrics</li>\n<li>Manage Power BI Service workspaces, apps, permissions, and refresh schedules</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Data Modeling &amp; Architecture</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Design dimensional and star-schema data models optimized for BI and analytics use cases</li>\n<li>Collaborate with data engineering teams on data pipelines, transformations, and warehouse design</li>\n<li>Support Omni’s semantic layer integration with cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, Big Query, Redshift, Azure Synapse)</li>\n<li>Ensure performance, scalability, and reliability of analytics solutions</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Governance, Security &amp; Best Practices</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Establish analytics governance standards across Power BI and Omni</li>\n<li>Implement and manage row-level security (RLS) and access controls</li>\n<li>Maintain documentation for semantic models, KPIs, dashboards, and data definitions</li>\n<li>Promote best practices for version control, deployment, and testing</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Required Qualifications</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)</li>\n<li>5+ years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, or data roles</li>\n<li>3+ years of hands-on Power BI experience</li>\n<li>Experience building or managing <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">semantic layers (Omni, LookML, dbt metrics, or similar)</span></li>\n<li>Strong skills in DAX, SQL, and data modeling</li>\n<li>Experience working with modern cloud data warehouses</li>\n<li>Strong communication skills with the ability to explain data concepts to non-technical audiences</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Preferred Qualifications</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Hands-on experience with Omni Analytics</li>\n<li>Experience leading analytics or BI teams in a consulting environment</li>\n<li>Microsoft Power BI certification (PL-300 or equivalent)</li>\n<li>Experience with Snowflake, Azure Synapse, BigQuery, or Redshift</li>\n<li>Familiarity with dbt, CI/CD for analytics, or modern data stack tooling</li>\n<li>Experience delivering executive and enterprise-level dashboards</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Competencies</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills</li>\n<li>Ability to balance hands-on development with strategic leadership</li>\n<li>Passion for data governance, metric consistency, and trusted analytics</li>\n<li>Collaborative mindset with strong stakeholder engagement skills</li>\n</ul>",
