Tri Star seeks to employ innovative methods to provide the highest level of accounting and business management services. &nbsp;We create a financial foundation and path to sustain growth and stability which allows our clients to focus on their fullest professional and personal goals.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Position Summary</strong></p><p>This position requires a highly organized individual who possesses strong initiative and has the ability to complete multiple projects in a deadline driven environment. &nbsp;This individual must be able to communicate effectively and understands the need to work in an integrated manner with other members of the department in furtherance of goals, objectives, and knowledge.</p><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Job Essentials, Responsibilities, Duties</strong></p><ul><li>Preparation and review of complex income tax returns including but not limited to Corporations, S Corporations, Partnerships, annual business, exempt organization, and Individual returns</li><li>Assist in quality control review of tax returns</li><li>Assist in planning and compliance regarding international tax matters including waivers and tax returns</li><li>Assist in the review and oversight over the preparation of quarterly tax projections and communication of required estimated tax payments</li><li>Assist in the oversight and review of year-end shareholder bonus process</li><li>Maintenance and adherence to financial and tax reporting policies and procedures</li><li>Assign, track and manage tasks and projects to Tax Staff</li><li>Assist in review and oversight over the reporting of 1099&rsquo;s</li><li>Preparation and review of tax correspondence and facilitation and oversight over tax audits and tax notices</li><li>Facilitation of entity creation and dissolution procedures including attainment of Articles of Incorporation, organizational documents, FEIN applications and 2553s</li><li>Assist team with tax software questions</li><li>Assist in review of all annual reports, franchise tax returns and other state returns</li><li>Assist in client invoicing for tax services performed</li></ul><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Specific Job Knowledge, skills, and Abilities</strong></p><ul type=\"square\"><li>Experience within a Business Management Firm and /or the entertainment industry where there would be good transferability of skills.</li></ul><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul type=\"square\"><li>Ability to reliably commute and report to the Tri Star office</li><li>BS in Accounting, Finance or Economics with strong academic record</li><li>Experience using QuickBooks and Excel</li><li>Active CPA License</li><li>Proficiency in tax software and technology</li><li>7+ years of experience in a Tax practice</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p style='margin:0in;font-size:13px;font-family:\"Aptos\",sans-serif;margin-left:.25in;' id=\"isPasted\"><span style=\"font-size: 14px;
