Project Aide

Required Qualifications (as evidenced by an attached resume): High School Diploma/GED (foreign equivalent or higher). Formal education courses or in-lab experience relating to data analysis, literature review and report writing. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree (foreign equivalent or higher). Proficient in both English and Chinese (both writing and oral communication). Brief Description of Duties: The project aide will work under the supervision of Principal Investigator Dr. Christopher Gobler and will assist in laboratory and field research focused on coastal aquatic ecosystems. Duties : Assist with processing and analyzing field and experimental samples for nutrients, pigments, etc. Assist with nutrient analysis. Assist with chlorophyll analysis. Assist with phytoplankton identification and enumeration. Assist with report writing and data analysis. Perform general laboratory maintenance. Other duties or projects as assigned as appropriate to rank and departmental mission. Special Notes: The Research Foundation of SUNY is a private educational corporation.
