    "description_html": "<p>Archon Protection is hiring for an <b>Entry Level </b>Security Officer position in the Newbury Park area. <br><br>Overnight shifts are required.<br><br>As a Security Guard, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of residential communities or commercial facilities.<br>Responsibilities are subject to change and are not limited or guaranteed to include the following:</p><ul><li>Conducting routine and regular foot patrols of the client location deterring suspicious activity and disturbances.</li><li>Writing detailed reports based on observations, incidents, violations, and maintenance issues.</li><li>Enforcing community or facilities rules and regulations per client request.</li><li>Securing site amenity areas.</li><li>Conducting parking enforcement via parking violation notices and/or towing vehicles.</li><li>Performing GPS checks.</li><li>Take accurate and thorough notes of any unusual occurrences.</li><li>Reporting in detail any suspicious incidents to the appropriate authorities.</li><li>Protecting the company’s property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment at all times.</li></ul><p>This role requires high attention to detail, professionalism, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols.</p><p>Extensive training will be provided by a Security Supervisor.</p><br><strong>* Local candidates only.</strong><h2><strong>Pay Range:<br><br>$17 per hour to $19 per hour<br><br>Basic Requirements</strong></h2><ul><li>Be at least 18 years old (BPC Section 7582.8)</li><li>Possess a High School diploma or GED equivalent.</li><li>Must possess or be willing to obtain a valid California Guard Card issued by the Bureau of Security and Investigative Services (BSIS). <a href=\"http://www.archonprotection.com/contact-us/\">Click Here</a> to inquire about obtaining your Guard Card and LiveScan fingerprints.</li><li>Undergo a criminal history background check through the California Department of Justice (DOJ) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) (BPC Sections 7581 and 7583.9)</li><li>Basic reading, writing, and communication skills.</li><li>Ability to follow instructions and work independently.</li><li>Must be physically fit, able to stand or walk for extended periods.</li><li>Must be available to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and situational awareness.
