This role&nbsp;is responsible for supporting the customer service team, warehouse operations and sales support of the branch.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>In conjunction with the warehouse this role will set delivery appointments for inbound PO&rsquo;s and update calendar, verify and enter the inbound PO&rsquo;s (receive), verify lot # or serial #, enter the put away locations, process outbound paperwork, and verify outbound shipments.</li><li>Performs cycle count verification for accuracy and investigates any discrepancy.</li><li>Will be forklift certified and the forklift trainer for the branch. Is the main contact for facilitating/scheduling MHE service. In addition, this role serves as the back-up for the warehouse personnel.</li><li>Provide freight quotes to customer service team, schedule the outbound freight shipments, arrange for carrier pickup, and processes pick sheets and BOL&rsquo;s.</li><li>Coordinate with the freight carriers on claims to ensure they are processed in a timely manner and resolved to the satisfaction of the parties involved.</li><li>Work with the Freight Specialist on freight damage claims.</li><li>Process and pay branch invoices, this includes invoices for products, freight, and office supplies to the accounting department.</li><li>Process open sales orders to generate customer billings.</li><li>This role is designated Safety Coordinator and will conduct safety audits, inspections as needed, and maintain the product quarantine area.</li><li>Manage third party warehouses transactions used by the branch, including inbound product, outbound shipment processing, monitoring of inventory, and outbound freight cost control.</li><li>&nbsp;Other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Education and/or Experience:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Forklift certification</li><li>OSHA 10-hour certification preferred</li><li>Minimum of 3 years&rsquo; experience with logistics, freight carriers, or warehouse</li><li>Knowledge of LTL, TL, and small parcel operations</li><li>Lean Six Sigma (or equivalent) root cause problem solving experience preferred</li><li>Excellent verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills</li><li>Experience using Microsoft Office 365 products (Outlook, Word, Excel) as well as ERP and Transportation Management systems.</li><li>Experience with NetSuite and or FreightPop preferred</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Competencies:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Must possess the ability to work independently and manage priorities to achieve goals as well as able to work in a team environment</li></ul><ul><li>Experience using Microsoft Office 365 products (Outlook, Word, Excel) as well as ERP and Transportation Management systems. &nbsp;</li><li>Experience with NetSuite and/or FreightPop preferred.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Work Environment:</strong></p><ul><li>Standard office setting</li><li>Warehouse environment when necessary</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong><span style=\"color: rgb(44, 130, 201);\">Why work at Associated Packaging, Inc.?</span></strong></p><p><strong>Longevity</strong> - Associated Packaging, Inc. has been providing packaging solutions for companies since 1977.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Stability</strong> - Even during times of recession and economic uncertainty, Associated Packaging, Inc. has remained financially strong and experienced tremendous growth.</p><p><strong>Customer Service</strong> - We focus on partnering with our customers to find and maintain the best solution possible for their packaging needs.
