Inputs will include interviews of base/contractor personnel, pictures, and drawings.</li><li>Monitors emerging technologies; reports on healthcare related technology trends; assess new healthcare related technologies; disseminates healthcare related technology information as appropriate.</li><li id=\"isPasted\">Identifies and tracks inventory of existing equipment in areas planned to be relocated or decommissioned.&nbsp;</li><li>Enters all equipment information into VA database when projects are completed and all equipment is installed.</li><li>Helps develop processes, standards and documentation for equipment procurement.</li><li>Shall maintain the digital resource library that includes drawings, plans, specification procurement documents, project correspondence, and project binders relating to major project equipment planning.</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Preferred education of bachelor&rsquo;s degree or higher.</li><li style=\"font-weight: bold;\" id=\"isPasted\"><strong>In accordance with federal regulations, possession of a valid Real ID is a requirement for this position.</strong></li><li>Minimum 2+ years of work experience in Medical Planning Design.&nbsp;</li><li>Project Management and Interior Design knowledge is beneficial, but not required.</li><li>Experienced with the integration of medical equipment and the associated infrastructure technology, including the exchange of information between disparate systems such as audiovisual, security, and acoustics, and information technology infrastructure and information technology systems.</li><li>Maintains functional knowledge of relevant safety codes and standards of regulatory bodies including The Joint Commission (TJC), National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation (AAMI).</li><li>Must possess computer skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook (email), Adobe Acrobat DC.
