Accessible only by air, the lodge offers unforgettable northern experiences including fishing, aurora viewing, cultural experiences, and wilderness adventures in one of Canada’s most breathtaking landscapes.</p>\n<p>We are looking for an experienced and guest-focused Fishing Guide to join our team for the upcoming season. This is an opportunity to work in a truly unique remote environment while delivering exceptional outdoor experiences for guests from around the world.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What You’ll Be Doing</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><em>Guest Experience &amp; Guiding</em><br>• Lead safe, engaging, and memorable guided fishing excursions<br>• Share knowledge of fishing techniques, local fish species, and the surrounding environment<br>• Support guests of all skill and experience levels<br>• Assist with shore lunches and outdoor guest experiences<br>• Help deliver exceptional guest service throughout the lodge experience</p>\n<p><em></em></p>\n<p><em>Safety &amp; Operations</em><br>• Safely operate boats and outdoor equipment<br>• Conduct safety checks and maintain awareness of changing weather and water conditions<br>• Follow lodge safety procedures and emergency protocols<br>• Maintain communication with lodge leadership during excursions</p>\n<p><em></em></p>\n<p><em>Equipment &amp; Program Support</em><br>• Assist with maintaining fishing gear, boats, motors, and equipment<br>• Support inventory organization and seasonal program setup<br>• Report repairs, maintenance concerns, or safety issues promptly</p>\n<p><em></em></p>\n<p><em>Team Support</em><br>• Work collaboratively with other lodge departments<br>• Support additional outdoor activities and lodge operations when required<br>• Contribute positively to team culture and remote lodge living</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What We’re Looking For</span></p>\n<p>• Previous fishing guide or outdoor guiding experience<br>• Strong freshwater fishing knowledge and practical skills<br>• Experience operating boats safely in outdoor environments<br>• Strong guest service and communication skills<br>• Ability to work independently and adapt to changing conditions<br>• Valid driver’s licence<br>• Valid First Aid &amp; CPR certification, or willingness to obtain<br>• Comfortable working rotational schedules in a remote environment</p>\n<p><em></em></p>\n<p><em>Assets</em><br>• Remote lodge or northern tourism experience<br>• Pleasure Craft Operator Card (PCOC)<br>• Wilderness or outdoor leadership experience<br>• Knowledge of Northwest Territories fishing and outdoor environments</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What We Offer</span></p>\n<p>• Opportunity to work in one of Canada’s most unique wilderness destinations<br>• Competitive compensation<br>• Room and board provided while at the lodge<br>• Transportation from Yellowknife to the lodge provided<br>• A supportive and adventure-driven team environment<br>• Experience working in a world-class remote hospitality operation</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>If you are passionate about fishing, wilderness experiences, and creating exceptional guest adventures, we would love to hear from you.</p>",
