    "requisitionDescription": "<div><p><strong><span style=\"color: rgb(209, 72, 65);\">JRAD is seeking candidates for [a contingent / future] position supporting the [DHS Science and Technology (S&amp;T)]. This position is [Washington DC/ possibly hybrid].</span></strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Roles/Responsibilities:</u></strong></p><ul><li>Plans, coordinates, and executes test and evaluation (T&amp;E) activities to assess system performance, operational effectiveness, and mission suitability in support of the Department of Homeland Security.</li><li>Develops and reviews test documentation, including test plans, procedures, scenarios, and evaluation reports, ensuring alignment with program requirements and acquisition guidance.</li><li>Designs and conducts functional, integration, and operational testing, documenting results and identifying defects, risks, and performance gaps.</li><li>Analyzes test data using quantitative and qualitative methods to provide actionable insights and support evidence-based decision-making.</li><li>Collaborates with program managers, engineers, and stakeholders to validate requirements, refine test objectives, and improve system performance.</li><li>Ensures compliance with DHS acquisition policies, T&amp;E frameworks, and applicable standards, maintaining traceability between requirements and test outcomes.</li><li>Supports test readiness reviews, operational assessments, and system evaluations, providing recommendations to inform milestone decisions.</li><li>Maintains test artifacts, metrics, and reporting dashboards, ensuring accurate communication of test status, risks, and results to leadership.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Required Skills and Education:</u></strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree at least 3 years&rsquo; experience</li><li>Engineering (or technical) experience</li><li>Excellent oral and written communications skills</li><li>Strong analytical and critical thinking skills</li><li>Preferred qualifications<ul><li>Advanced degree (MS or PhD)</li><li>Knowledge of Department of Homeland Security Acquisition and Systems Engineering policy</li></ul></li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Security Clearance:</u></strong></p><ul><li>DHS Suitability</li><li>Secret</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>When you work for JRAD you will never be just a number.
