Twelve guaranteed hours per week provides reliable, predictable income. About the Student Jake is a bright, bilingual 8-year-old entering 4th grade who thrives in 1:1 learning environments. He is a strong reader with high energy and a tendency toward distraction — group tutoring and passive homework help have not been effective. What works is a structured, warm educator who arrives prepared, holds the session with consistency, and adapts instruction to keep him engaged.
