    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><link href=\"https://static.workforcenow.adp.com/mas/mdf-components/24.23.14/styles/froala_editor.pkgd.min.css\" rel=\"stylesheet\" type=\"text/css\">&nbsp;<link href=\"https://static.workforcenow.adp.com/mas/mdf-components/24.23.14/styles/froala_style.min.css\" rel=\"stylesheet\" type=\"text/css\"><div class=\"fr-view\"><div><link href=\"https://static.workforcenow.adp.com/mas/mdf-components/23.45.22/styles/froala_editor.pkgd.min.css\" rel=\"stylesheet\" type=\"text/css\">&nbsp;<link href=\"https://static.workforcenow.adp.com/mas/mdf-components/23.45.22/styles/froala_style.min.css\" rel=\"stylesheet\" type=\"text/css\"><div class=\"fr-view\"><div><div><link href=\"https://static.workforcenow.adp.com/mas/mdf-components/23.41.21/styles/froala_editor.pkgd.min.css\" rel=\"stylesheet\" type=\"text/css\">&nbsp;<link href=\"https://static.workforcenow.adp.com/mas/mdf-components/23.41.21/styles/froala_style.min.css\" rel=\"stylesheet\" type=\"text/css\"><div><div><em><strong><span style=\"color: rgb(209, 72, 65);\">JRAD has an immediate opening for an Analytical Chemist in Washington DC.&nbsp;</span></strong></em><p><br></p><p><em><strong>J</strong></em><strong>ob Duties:</strong></p><ul><li>Analyzes environmental and/or air samples for Chemical contamination &nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Operates and maintains laboratory equipment (e.g., Gas and Liquid Chromatography, Mass Spectrometers, and performs basic maintenance and checks on common laboratory systems &nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Uses Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) software for managing analytical data &nbsp;</li><li>Participates in laboratory proficiency testing activities and maintains QAQC records to include performance charts, control limits, and detection and reporting limits for analytical methods governing use of laboratory instrumentation &nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Maintains operator manuals and procedures, providing training to new staff in the operation and use of Lab equipment and LIMS &nbsp;</li><li>Meticulously adheres to laboratory procedures, data management practices and safety protocols in accordance with Laboratory Quality Assurance Plans and safety policies/regulations &nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Supports formal audits of laboratory quality control systems and practices, the inspection of safety practices and the review of Job Hazard Analyses &nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Maintains inventory of lab supplies &nbsp;</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Required Skills and Education:</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or similar, from an accredited college or university&nbsp;</li><li>More than 3 year of experience with quantitative analysis of chemical compounds, and 2 years&rsquo; experience with screening environmental samples for toxic industrial compounds (TICs) &nbsp;</li><li>Must have demonstrated analytical laboratory skills as evidenced by participation in a Proficiency Test such as a Precision and Accuracy performance test or equivalent &nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Must have experience with quality management standards (e.g., ISO 17025 or similar), sample preparation methods, techniques, regulations, protocols, safety measures, and the operation and maintenance of chemical laboratory instrumentation &nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Excel, Project, Word, Access and Power Point &nbsp;</li><li>Excellent written and oral communication skills</li><li style=\"margin: 0in; font-size: 11pt; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\" id=\"isPasted\">Multiple experience level positions available for Journeyman to Senior level Chemists</li><li style=\"margin: 0in; font-size: 11pt; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\">Minimum of 10 years of experience with a Bachelors Degree, or 6 years of experience with a Masters Degree</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Security Clearance</strong></p><ul><li>Ability to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>When you work for JRAD you will never be just a number.
