Our Behavioral Health Department (BHD) offers a comprehensive array of high quality, culturally-sensitive mental health services that provide children and families with the services they need for success at home, in school, and in the community.<br>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>About the Position</strong><br>The FIT Clinician provides intensive, community-based behavioral health services to children and youth (under 21) with Serious Emotional Disturbance (SED) and their families. As part of a multidisciplinary team with Family Partners and Paraprofessionals, the Clinician delivers evidence-based treatment, crisis intervention, and family therapy aligned with the CBHI/FIT model. Care is family-driven, youth-guided, culturally responsive, and trauma-informed to promote stability, resilience, and improved well-being.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: -0.25in;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Provide intensive family therapy, individual therapy, and caregiver sessions in homes and community settings.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Complete comprehensive assessments (including CANS) and develop strengths-based, culturally responsive treatment plans.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Deliver evidence-based interventions to improve youth functioning and family dynamics; reduce reliance on higher levels of care.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Provide crisis intervention, safety planning, and stabilization to maintain youth/family safety in the community.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Coordinate care with Family Partners, Paraprofessionals, schools, medical providers, and community agencies.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Maintain timely, accurate documentation compliant with agency, CBHI, and MassHealth standards.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, supervision, and required trainings to ensure fidelity to the FIT model.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Communicate proactively with families; offer advocacy and system-navigation support.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Provide consultation/support to community partners regarding behavioral health needs.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Perform other duties as assigned within scope of practice.</li></ul></div><p><br></p><p><strong>Education and Skills Requirements</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: -0.25in;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Master&rsquo;s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Massachusetts license or license-eligible (e.g., LCSW, LICSW, LMHC, LMFT).</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">2+ years&rsquo; clinical experience with children, youth, and families (home/community settings preferred).</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Demonstrated trauma-informed and culturally responsive practice.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment-planning skills; crisis intervention and family engagement experience.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Proficiency with electronic health records and Microsoft Office.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Current CANS (or ability to obtain prior to start, per program policy).</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Valid driver&rsquo;s license, insured reliable vehicle, and ability to travel locally; ability to work some evenings/weekends and participate in on-call rotation.</li></ul></div><p><strong>Nice-to-Haves</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: -0.25in;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Familiarity with CBHI services and FIT/wraparound models.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Bilingual/bicultural candidates strongly encouraged to apply.</li></ul></div><p><strong>Salary and Benefits</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: -0.25in;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Salary: $75,000 annually</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Health, dental, and vision insurance</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Paid time off and optional 401(k) plan</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Employee discounts and access to CEU/professional development opportunities</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Supportive, mission-driven team environment</li></ul></div><p><br></p><p>At Children&rsquo;s Services of Roxbury, we are committed to creating an inclusive environment where everyone feels welcome.
