You'll help local and regional businesses gain new customers while making a difference in local communities by supporting local news and journalism.<br><br>Successful candidates are career-minded and outgoing people who bring great ideas to a wide variety of retailers and business professionals, a<span>nd</span> help businesses build market share to active consumers using multi-media marketing solutions.  Candidates must be energetic, creative and eager to seek new business.<br><br>Applicants should have excellent customer service skills, basic understanding of marketing principles, strong written and verbal skills in addition to a positive attitude. Reliable transportation is required. and located in or very near Santa Cruz County.<br><br>Responsibilities include:<br><br>• Outside sales presentations, face-to-face consultations and video conferences with key decision makers<br><br>• Ability to work with local clients to learn objectives and opportunities<br><br>• Prospecting local markets to continuously fill sales pipeline and open new accounts<br><br>• Fearless cold-calling and lead generation<br><br>• Sale of print and digital marketing solutions including Good Times, The Pajaronian and the Press Banner, newsletters, multiple websites, email, and more<br><br>• Oversight of client campaigns and regular communication of performance results<br><br>• Meeting and exceeding monthly, quarterly and annual revenue goals<br><br>• Maintaining client database, account information, scheduling of appointments, prospecting calls and next steps in-sales process</p>\n<p>We offer a competitive salary, paid time off, health benefits, HSA, FSA and 401k. This is a remote position with occasional meetings in the Good Times office in Santa Cruz as needed.<br><br>Weeklys is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
