    "description": "<h2>Position Summary</h2>\n<p><strong></strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Acuren is seeking a professional, energetic and forward-thinking CEDO Technician with IRATA certification to support operations at LNG site located in Kitimat, BC. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Position Details</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Location:</strong> Position is based locally in Kitimat, BC at LNG site</p>\n<p><strong>Start date:</strong> Immediately</p>\n<p><strong>Shift/Hours:</strong> 5/2 rotation, 40 hrs./week and possible overtime</p>\n<p><strong>Wage:</strong> $36.54/hr., depending on certifications in accordance with the QCC Agreement</p>\n<p><strong>Relocation:</strong> We are able to offer up to 3 months of temporary housing to assist with your relocation transition if required. </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Prepare and position radiographic exposure devices and sources, such as gamma or X-ray equipment, to conduct inspections.</li>\n <li>Calibrating the equipment, securing the area, and ensuring all safety protocols are followed to protect themselves and others from radiation exposure.</li>\n <li>Perform radiographic examinations on materials, welds, or components to detect internal flaws, such as cracks, voids, or other irregularities.</li>\n <li>Implement and monitor strict safety procedures to minimize radiation exposure to themselves and others.</li>\n <li>Ensure that all activities comply with regulatory requirements and safety standards.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Requirements</h2>\n<h2><strong>Certifications & Technical Qualifications:</strong></h2>\n<ul>\n <li><p>CEDO Certification</p></li>\n <li><p>IRATA (Rope Access) Certified or willing to obtain</p></li>\n <li><p>Diversified experience in NDT or related field</p></li>\n <li><p>Self-motivated and capable of working at a high technical and performance level</p></li>\n</ul>\n<h2><strong>Professional Skills & Work Requirements:</strong></h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Strong work ethics</li>\n <li>Ability to maintain positive working relations with clients</li>\n <li>Exceptional safety and quality awareness</li>\n <li>Ability to solve problems and manage time effectively</li>\n <li>Candidates must be local or willing to relocate</li>\n <li> </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Benefits</h2>\n<p>The strength of Acuren lies in its outstanding people.
