This investment has produced a highly professional, innovative and passionate team that deliver projects for our clients safely, efficiently and to the highest standards in the industry.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>We are a preferred provider in growth segments such as residential, commercial, mix use and controlled environments (including pharmaceutical and healthcare).</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Our culture is innovative, collaborative, performance focused and built on partnership, with safety at the forefront of everything that we do.</p>\n<p><em> </em></p>\n<p><em>Come join us.</em></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span>Clancy Construction is seeking an Assistant Site Manager to work with us in Cork.</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Location</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">This is a Site based role in the Cork area.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Reporting to </span></p>\n<p>The Site Manager.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Liaising with consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project.</li>\n<li>Checking plans, drawings and key information within the project</li>\n<li>Liaising with supervision of subcontractors and Colleagues across the project.</li>\n<li>Helping to plan work efficiently ensuring strict deadlines are met.</li>\n<li>Assisting in Quality control and safety measures on site.</li>\n<li>Dealing with unexpected technical difficulties which may arise and helping to successfully close them out effectively.</li>\n<li>Responsible for the Quality management and BCAR requirements for your area of responsibility</li>\n<li>Overseeing quality control and safety matters on site and ensuring that regulations, Clancy standards and best practice(s) are always adhered to.</li>\n<li>Attending regular meetings and keeping yourself well informed at all times.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications/Experience:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience : 3 years – ideally within a main/specialist contractor.</li>\n<li>Demonstrates a working knowledge of the construction industry and project execution.</li>\n<li>Demonstrated well developed communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate clearly with all stakeholders.</li>\n<li>Team player with ability to build effective relationships at all levels - making the project and its outcome better, because of their input.</li>\n<li>Computer literate and familiar with MS office.</li>\n<li>Demonstrated knowledge of safety management and quality management.</li>\n<li>Strong ability to learn quickly, with the confidence to use that learning on the project.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">English proficiency is required - spoken and written.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Equal Opportunities</span></p>\n<p>Clancy is an equal opportunity employer.
