Description

Role: The Director of Mortgage Operations at Blaze will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the mortgage operations process, from loan processing to closing, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with regulatory requirements. You will lead a team of mortgage operations professionals, develop, and implement strategies to optimize processes, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver exceptional service to our members. This role requires strong leadership skills, deep knowledge of mortgage operations, and a commitment to excellence. Job Type: Full-time, on-site at our Larpenteur Corporate Office Major Duties and Responsibilities Lead, mentor, and empower a team of mortgage operations specialists to achieve departmental goals and objectives. Review and streamline mortgage operations processes, workflows, and procedures to improve efficiency, reduce cycle times, and enhance the member experience. Establish and enforce quality control measures to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory requirements throughout the mortgage operations process. Review HMDA reporting for accuracy and compliance. Prepare regular reports and dashboards on mortgage operations performance, productivity, and key metrics. Analyze data trends and insights to identify opportunities for process improvement, resource optimization, and strategic decision-making. Present findings and recommendations to senior management, providing insights into operational performance and areas for enhancement. Other Duties Comply with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control Exhibit Blaze’s Core Value’s: Better Lives, Thoughtfully Compassionate, Minnesota’s Best, and Give Back Regular and predictable attendance Perform other duties as assigned to support effective department operation.
