Maintains the standard of care delivered to infants, toddlers, preschool and school age children, adolescent, adults and geriatrics.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Schedule</p>\n<p>Full Time, Mid Shift</p>\n<p>10:00am-8:00pm</p>\n<p>Rotating Weekends</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>To review Memorial's Benefits click here: Benefits - Memorial HR</strong></p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p>Education:</p>\n<p>Graduate of an AMA approved School of Radiological Technology</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Licensure/Certification/Registry:</p>\n<p>ARRT registration with Illinois State License</p>\n<p>CPR certified</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Other Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:</p>\n<p>Knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology</p>\n<p>Knowledge of technical factors, utilizing kVp and mAs per anatomical exposure</p>\n<p>Knowledge of patient position techniques required to image human anatomy</p>\n<p>Knowledge of federal and state regulations applicable to contrast media and medication</p>\n<p>Knowledge of radiation protection and safety</p>\n<p>Skill in speaking with persons of various social, cultural, economic and educational backgrounds</p>\n<p>Ability to makes precisely coordinated movements of the fingers of one or both hands to grasp, manipulate or assemble very small objects</p>\n<p>Ability to arrange things or actions in a certain order or pattern according to a specific rule or set of rules.</p>\n<p>Ability to give full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate and not interrupting at inappropriate times.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Operate within Memorial’s Code of Conduct and Ethics, embodying Performance Excellence Standards:</li>\n <li><strong><u>SAFETY:</u></strong> <em>Prevent Harm</em> - I put safety first in everything I do. I prevent defects and delays by prioritizing value-driven decisions and optimizing resource allocation.</li>\n <li>Performs routine radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures according to department policy and procedures.\n  <ul>\n   <li>Updates patient examination history files.</li>\n   <li>Enters data in McKesson and PACS computer systems.</li>\n   <li>Consults with supervisors, Radiologist or ordering physician as necessary, to provide appropriate patient care.</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Performs radiographic procedures utilizing proper positioning and technique factors that safely image human anatomy as ordered.</li>\n <li>Follows safety precautions; reports dangerous department or equipment conditions appropriately.</li>\n <li>Performs visual preventative safety inspections.</li>\n <li>Provides proper radiation protection for patient and staff.</li>\n <li>Remains flexible in accepting rotating schedules as requested.</li>\n <li>Maintains IDNS license, AART registration and CPR certification; remains current on developing trends in diagnostic radiology; participates in continuing education.</li>\n <li>Participates in clinical instruction and evaluation of student technologists.</li>\n <li>Maintains clean, neat and orderly work area; maintains appropriated supply levels.</li>\n <li>Treats patients in professional and respectful manner.\n  <ul>\n   <li>Demonstrates age-specific competency.</li>\n   <li>Thoroughly explains procedures.</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Performs office procedures in absence of clerical support personnel.</li>\n <li>Performs other duties as assigned.
