(GA-ASI), an affiliate of General Atomics, is a world leader in proven, reliable remotely piloted aircraft and tactical reconnaissance radars, as well as advanced high-resolution surveillance systems.<br><br>We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join our MQ-9B Systems team in Poway, CA.&nbsp;&nbsp;This position is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the operational aspects of one or more MQ-9B contracts and serves as a liaison between program management, project engineering, functional engineering, planning, manufacturing operations, flight test operations, and the customer in support of contract execution requirements.&nbsp; Continually reviews status of project(s) and budgets to ensure project(s) are completed on time and within budget. Assesses project issues/risks and develops solutions to meet production, quality, and customer-satisfaction goals and objectives. Must accomplish tasks utilizing built relationships and earned trust. Key team members who will make decisions and facilitate actions leading to the successful execution of the project(s) assigned.<br><br><strong>DUTIES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong><br>&nbsp;<ul><li>Provide leadership, direction, and guidance for the project(s) assigned.</li><li>Take ownership and be accountable for the project(s) assigned.</li><li>Create project plan(s) and manage resources to ensure project schedule, budget, quality, technical specification, and customer satisfaction goals are attained.</li><li>Oversee and monitor project schedules, timelines, and milestones from initiation to delivery to meet contractual requirements.</li><li>Coordinate departmental and/or cross-functional teams to assign and prioritize tasks focused on delivering new or upgrading existing products and/or services.</li><li>Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.</li><li>Identify and assess project issues/risks and develop solutions to meet cost, schedule, quality and customer satisfaction goals and objectives.</li><li>Provide leadership, direction, and guidance to employees working on assigned project(s).</li><li>Communicate project expectations/status to team members, stakeholders, and the customer in a timely fashion.</li><li>May participate in lead segments of or provide overall management for a request for proposal (RFP).</li><li>Interpret and administer policies, processes and procedures that impact project(s).</li><li>Maintain the strict confidentiality of sensitive information.</li><li>Responsible for ensuring all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations are observed wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company.</li><li>Responsible for ensuring work is accomplished in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices.</li><li>Other duties as assigned or required.</li></ul><br>We recognize and appreciate the value and contributions of individuals with diverse backgrounds and experiences and welcome all qualified individuals to apply.<br><br><strong>Highlights Working For GA-ASI:</strong><ul><li>This position is eligible for the Individual Compensation Program (ICP) bonus.</li><li>This position is eligible for a hybrid work environment (up to 1 day/week remote work from home) pending project needs.</li><li>Outstanding benefits including: 401(k) (with company match), company pension, on site cafeterias, gyms and outdoor recreation centers, Employee Recreation Association (ERA) which gives unlimited access to discounted tickets for amusement parks such as San Diego Zoo and Safari Park.</li><li>Outstanding work environment: team-centric, value and respect all contributors, great growth potential within GA-ASI project engineering and GA-ASI as a whole.</li></ul>",
