Join us at Camp K for fun at one of Alaska's most beautiful sleep away camps in Cooper Landing. Just two hours South of Anchorage, our camp is located on the beautiful Kenai Peninsula. No outdoor experience is required, just a love for camp! If you want to build an inclusive and loving community at our camp, this is a perfect job for you! Housing and meals are included for the entire season.</span></em></span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">PROGRAM OVERVIEW:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Program:</span> Camp K is an ACA Accredited Summer Residential Youth Co-ed Camp.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Location:</span> Camp K is located in Copper Landing, AK on Kenai Lake.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Dates:</span> All Staff training begins mid-May. Camp opens to youth in early June and runs through July.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Time:</span> Camp K offers 5 day sessions throughout the summer.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Staff Shifts:</span> Camp K staff reside on camp premises during all camp sessions. There is personal time between sessions to enjoy the beautiful Alaska Summer. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Activities:</span> While at Camp K youth are provided hiking, boating activities, outdoor games, creative arts, target sports, outdoor living skills and team building. </span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"color: #222222\">POSITION SUMMARY:</span></span></p>\n<p>The Lifeguard Counselor plays a vital role in ensuring the safety, growth, and positive experience of all campers at Camp K. This position combines traditional counselor responsibilities with specialized duties in aquatic safety and instruction.</p>\n<p>As a cabin counselor, you’ll provide 24-hour supervision and guidance for a group of campers, working closely with other counselors to lead and support a wide range of camp activities.
