Click Here to See All Ryder Careers: https://jobs.ryder.com/jobs/</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We want YOU to join our family made up of Proud Women and Men in Supply Chain who work alongside the many Military Reserve and Veterans we hire everyday</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>EEO/AA/Female/Minority/Disabled/Veteran</p>\n<h2>Requirements</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma or equivalent preferred</li>\n <li><p>1 to 2 years or more in Carpentry, Manufacturing environment preferred</p></li>\n <li><p>Ability to comprehend basic math</p></li>\n <li><p>Strong verbal and written communication skills</p></li>\n <li><p>Able to work within a diverse work environment</p></li>\n <li><p>Highly thorough and dependable</p></li>\n <li><p>Must be punctual and have a good attendance record</p></li>\n <li><p>Performs work independently with minimal supervision</p></li>\n <li><p>Possesses a high degree of initiative</p></li>\n <li><p>Demonstrates a high level of accuracy, even under pressure</p></li>\n <li>Ability to\n  <ul>\n   <li><p>Work independently and as a member of a team</p></li>\n   <li><p>Be a team player</p></li>\n   <li><p>Create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors)</p></li>\n   <li>Operate power equipment in a safe manner</li>\n   <li>Lift and/or push/pull up to 50 lbs</li>\n   <li><p>Twist, stoop, squat, reach above shoulder level and crouch on a frequent basis</p></li>\n   <li><p>Use hands and feet simultaneously and perform repetitive movements</p></li>\n   <li>Work at a steady, fast pace while kneeling and/or twisting</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Capable of standing and walking for extended periods of time (at least 2 hours straight, four times in an 8-hour day)</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Important Note: </strong>Some positions require additional screening that may include employment and education verification; motor vehicle records check and a road test; and/or badging or background requirements of the customer to which you are assigned.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Pallet Inspector/Palamatic Operator:\n  <ul>\n   <li>Safely and securely inspect pallets at a rate that meets company standards and in a manner thatmeets company safety standards</li>\n   <li>Manually lift 70lb pallets from a stack to a rolling line; in addition lift the pallets for inspectionand separation utilizing the palamatic machine</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Quality:\n  <ul>\n   <li>Ensure that proper inspection and separation is met</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Inventory:\n  <ul>\n   <li>Conduct physical inventories as required</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Safety and Security:\n  <ul>\n   <li>Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area</li>\n   <li>Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse</li>\n   <li>Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety</li>\n   <li>Comply with OSHA and MSDS Standards</li>\n   <li>Must wear all safety equipment while repairing pallets</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Performs duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract</li>\n <li>Performs other duties as assigned</li>\n</ul>\n<p><em> </em><em>Ryder is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and Drug Free workplace.
