The Electronic Security Design Estimator works independently on system design, proposals, estimating, planning and supporting the achievement of meeting sales goals.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We have openings in the following locations. Compensation for this role will be determined based on factors such as relevant experience, skills, certifications, and market alignment. The final offer may vary within the posted range depending on these considerations.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Pay Range:</strong> $85k-$110k annually plus 2.5% quarterly bonus</p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Omaha, Nebraska</li>\n <li>Santa Ana, California</li>\n <li>Chicago, Illinois</li>\n <li>Reston, VA</li>\n <li>Nationwide - Data Center</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Conduct site walkthroughs with client and sales understanding the need</li>\n <li>Develop technical solutions that map customer business requirements to security technology solutions </li>\n <li>Generation of technical scopes of work (SOW) and detailed design narratives for technical solutions and associated cost estimates</li>\n <li>Manage estimation process to include interfacing with multiple representatives of sales, management, and customer teams</li>\n <li>Analyze blueprints, construction drawings, and technical/functional design specifications to prepare compliant solutions</li>\n <li>Interface with product and distribution partners to obtain systems, device, and equipment pricing during estimating process</li>\n <li>Support Sales Team by participating in technical discussions and meetings with customers and/or product partners, to include ROI (Return on Investment) conversations and presentations</li>\n <li>Understanding quality assurance and compliance with organizational standards and RFP requirements</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma or equivalent</li>\n <li>Minimum of three (3) years of experience with integrated electronic security solutions</li>\n <li>Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a pre-sales support/engineering position</li>\n <li>Working knowledge of network Infrastructure Including switches, routers, IP configuration</li>\n <li>Strong technical knowledge of network infrastructure, video analytics, SaaS, access control systems, intrusion detection systems and cloud-based security solutions</li>\n <li>Excellent communication skills; able to manage multiple priorities, maintain confidentiality, and collaborate effectively</li>\n <li>Advanced skills with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, and Word)</li>\n <li>Skilled in utilizing a PDF editing software, creation tools such as Bluebeam for device plotting, and team collaborations</li>\n <li>Ability to travel (20%-30%) on an as needed basis</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE):</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>College degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or another related major</li>\n <li>Project Management (PMP) certification</li>\n <li>Any of the following:\n  <ul>\n   <li>Physical Security Professional (PSP)</li>\n   <li>Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)</li>\n   <li>Product specific certification in Access Control and Video platforms</li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>BENEFITS:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Medical, dental, vision, retirement plan, basic life, AD&D, and disability insurance</li>\n <li>Eight paid holidays annually, five sick days, and four personal days</li>\n <li>Vacation time is offered at an accrual rate of 3.08 hours biweekly.
