With a current team of 200, working across 6 airports in Eastern Canada, as we grow in Manitoba, we are currently seeking candidates for <span style=\"color: rgb(224, 62, 45)\">PART TIME </span><span style=\"color: #ff0000\">RAMP ATTENDANT / BAGGAGE HANDLER</span> based in <span style=\"color: #ff0000\">Brandon, Manitoba.</span></span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">JOB SUMMARY:</span></p>\n<p>Ramp Attendants work under the direction of the Station Leadership to ensure all aspects of aircraft handling are completed safely according to specific company policies &amp; procedures. Safety, attention to detail, following company procedures, and team work are key components to being a successful ramp attendant.  The ideal candidate must possess verbal &amp; written communication skills, be energetic, outgoing, understanding and accepting of change.  He/She must also be flexible and able to deal with the adapting nature of aviation. If you enjoy a great team, where each day presents new challenges and opportunities, this position is for you! </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span> Sort, load, unload baggage and cargo from flights.</span></li>\n<li><span> Service lavatories and potable water per company standards.</span></li>\n<li><span> Connect, disconnect ground power/bridge power from Aircraft.</span></li>\n<li><span> Marshall aircraft to and from gate, parking stands.</span></li>\n<li><span> Wing walk arrivals and departures.</span></li>\n<li><span> Operate belt loaders, baggage tractors and carts.</span></li>\n<li><span> Complete aircraft grooming.</span></li>\n<li><span> Complete aircraft towing and/or brake riding.</span></li>\n<li><span> Complete daily inspection of operating equipment.</span></li>\n<li><span> Complete equipment deficiency reports as required.</span></li>\n<li><span> Snow removal, equipment cleaning, housekeeping as required.</span></li>\n<li><span> Attend all required training sessions and successfully complete training courses.</span></li>\n<li><span> Actively participate in company safety programs.</span></li>\n<li><span> Work as a team member in a safe, efficient, professional manner.</span></li>\n<li><span> Adhere to published uniform standards and requirements.</span></li>\n<li><span> Follow all safety guidelines and safe workplace procedures.</span></li>\n<li><span> Take direction from ramp shift leads/supervisors and Station Manager or Coordinator.</span></li>\n<li><span> Complete customer baggage and/or cargo deliveries as required.</span></li>\n<li><span> Other duties as assigned by management.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span> Must be able to apply and secure an Airport Security Pass</span></li>\n<li><span> Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.</span></li>\n<li><span>Must have valid driver’s license with clean abstract &amp; obtain a clean criminal records check prior to offer.</span><span> </span></li>\n<li><span>Previous airline and/or freight handling experience would be an asset.</span><span> </span></li>\n<li><span>Must be willing to adapt to the changing nature of aviation.</span><br></li>\n<li><span> Must be willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions.</span></li>\n<li><span> Must have excellent team player competencies.</span></li>\n<li><span> Ability to speak, write and understand the English language.</span></li>\n<li><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li> $125.00 per year Protective Footwear Allowance.</li>\n<li> PPE required is provided to employee.</li>\n<li> Returnable deposit on all Uniform Pieces.</li>\n<li> Paid Training.</li>\n<li> Access to staff flight travel benefits.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>",
